the vdata folder gets dropped into what ever directory you use. so for most of us, that would be the "steam/steamapps/common/vampire the masquerade - bloodlines/Unofficial_Patch" folder

you should back up the old items folder. just make a copy of the whole thing.

this mod was made from the ground up using the old vanila files. it should be compatible with any mod. but it does, of course, overwrite/override the item files dealing with ranged weapons.

i did not include the "item_w_crossbow_flaming" so as not to overwrite the dragons breath mod. until i get permision, and im not seeking it, i won't do any work on either the classic flaming crossbow or the dragons breath shot gun.

so this is the final final ish... version. ranged combat stat once again works. it affects accuracy and damage. but i tuned it up so it plays alot like an fps. if you want to run through it as a melee, your gonna need to use some discs and work twards maxing out your soak and defense. not sure nos can run as a full frontal melee with this mod.
