My only gripe with the mod is that the asphalt color is so grey it looks as if the streets were made of cement just like the sidewalks. The rest of the textures are just a treat to look at. Also, I don't know what it is, but the ground is like a mirror (maybe the alphas?), it only happens with this texture mod. here pic: Shiny ground
OMG... You dare to complain because you have to install 3 mods files filled with HD textures freely shared by its author ? For f*#@ sake, don't use the mod, shut up and go the other way !
Toxic responses to this person's post are unnecessary, but typical. It's a reasonable critique as it costs almost no time from the uploader's perspective. It is also not without consequence as overcomplicated downloads will always result in more install errors misreported as bugs. I've also often been annoyed by this and don't understand why authors make more work for everyone by doing this. Standard should be an updated full file with old files for compatibility purposes.

Yeah I'm really sorry, I'm not sure why anyone is getting upset on my behalf but to explain: A lot happened in my life since this time, from the breakup of my marriage to drug use. I'm just not the same person I was once and my enthusiasm for gaming left me. I feel it coming back now that I'm getting back on track and I decided to take another look at this game after being fed up with the shite the industry has been feeding us for years now. If i find it in me I'll take this consideration onboard and try to update this pack to a better standard but if not feel free to fix my errors for me.
Getting back into this game after quite a bit of life happening to me, too. It sounds like you've come out the other side, so you've got this. Working on something that once brought you joy can be just what one needs in the face of the BS life throws at us. Hope you're doing well, and keep fighting the good fight.
