I could expand the mod, I would like to diablerize the npc, I would not like to diablerize any of the elders, but like sabbat, Thin-Blood, kuei-jin, Sheriff, Pisha, Andrei, Ash Rivers, Hengeyokai, Brotherhood of the 9th Circle , Some Norferatus, The Southland Slasher, Giovanni, and the vampire npcs that appear on the street sometimes

if you want to use this mod in your own work, go for it.

the reason i didnt add any combat diablerie is cuz i would of(or felt like i would have...) had to work up some sorta system to reward the player for diablerizing some sabat lackey. and im real lazy...

plus i didnt feel that diablerizing some foot soldier on average would yield any long term benefits... i was thinking a short term buff that might stack because diablerizing supposedly gets vampires super high. but again... lazy.

the other side of the coin is that diablerie is a big time no-no... no matter whom your drinking. so i wasnt super happy with the slap on the wrist i added in this mod. seems like a vampire running around and diablerizing every foot soldier he ran into would cause quite a stir among polite kindred society...

A succesful Diablerie should work regardless of the generation of the kindred you offed. Even if you're an 8th gen and you diablerize some 12th gen shovelhead, theoretically you should still get at least one of their disciplines.

Only if they know. Besides the TRPG has things like the 'Hidden Diablerie' trait or Soul Decoration even. There are just as many ways to get away with it as to get caught. Not everyone has Aura Perception going around all night, but some like to prowl with Cloak of Shadows on so you never know who may be watching. I mean, "lorewise speaking", it's not like everyone who would know the Fledgling indeed committed diablerie would go running to tell LaCroix about of what they saw. And even if they did, it could be a good way to justify the Bloodhunt LaCroix calls onto them later in the game.

I absolutely adore the concept behind the mod. Diablerie should have been a part of VtMB and you brought it to light with this mod. There are only two issues with it in my opinion which I would love to see fixed (provided that you would still be interested in updating the mod after a two-year period with no updates).
    1. Diablerie has no animation available for when the playable character feeds on the very life essence and soulof an npc. The first character I diablerized was Therese Voerman. I have been fairly surprised to find that after finishing the dialogue, Therese's body has undergone the Final Death animation with no prior scenes as to what actually transpired (the supposed diablerie act itself).
    2. After each successful diablerie, the fledgling's experience points return to 0, aswell as the stats gained via diablerizing someone, so the player won't get the stacked up benefits of the consecutive successful diablerie rituals as for each time we consume an npc's vitae, we return to base stats, with no increased stats save for the latest act of diablerie.

I have taken the liberty to explore the vamputil.py file with MS Visual Code but haven't modified anything within as I'm not  one to go around messing up someone else's hard work. Inside the code, I have found several bugs, mostly related to indentation issues and the separation of lines via semicolons along with 2 warnings about the define function.
All in all, I have found this mod to be illegally enjoyable, and it is by far one of the best mods created for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines imho.
Personally, I would very much enjoy seeing this mod being brought to it's rightful place in the top ^-^

    Best regards

this was sort of a corn ball way to kill npc's you don't like but not normally able to ice...

that said... jacks one of my all time favorite characters... so he gets a clean pass. same deal for damsel... rofl.

the cabbie on the other hand gets a pass because you never talk to him out side the cab. my work around requires the character and would be target to be standing and chatting.
