Historian and mythologist. And the irony of calling someone a nerd....on a modding site for gaming. I'm just pointing it out. Irongate has done a good job so far of being accurate in theme and spirit to the Viking Age.
Looking at that logo, how could you ever mistake it for a crescent moon setting behind a hill? What a nerd. also I am Icelandic and I wear horned helms all the time. So quit labelling my race.
whatever, you were being a smart ass " crescent moon behind a hill" gimme a break. It's pretty obvious what it is and you wanted the opportunity to show us all how intelligent you are. -roll eyes emoji-
If you had just pointed it out, said something like "I think a horned helmet looks silly for a Valheim logo, could you use [whatever] instead?" then it would've been a fair point. Maybe suggest a real Viking symbol with a meaning that can vaguely relate to this software's purpose, that'd be cool. Should be easy for you, if you're a historian and mythologist whose field of study is close enough to the Viking age to make those titles worth mentioning in this context.
When you do this weird little roleplay instead, it makes you sound insufferable to a degree that overshadows your original point.
It is unfortunate you do not like the logo, I appreciate you sharing you opinion here. I would like to point out IronGate has included a helmet with horns in the game. See: https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Drake_helmet
Are you capable of not smelling your own fart every time you leave a comment though is the real question. Me and other people have practically destroyed your argument under another mod but seems like you either refused to acknowledge it being destroyed or just couldn't process it.
Does this game have historically accurate tools, weapons and equipment? Sure, I guess. Is it a 100% authentic/faithful recreation of historical events that went down in the Viking Age? Well, considering there are portals, dragons and trolls, the answer should be obvious Mr. Omniscient Historian, Rectifier Of Normies.
TL;DR: It's only gaem, nobody cares. Stop being a bad troll. Thank you kindly.
Eh, Configuration Manager still does one thing that this can't: changing settings on the fly while the game is running. In-depth setup was already better done in Notepad, so Config Manager's role hasn't really changed; we'll just have a better tool for external editing than notepad :P
My mod Is mainly a fancy replacement for Notepad. Configuration Manager still remains a more convenient option with the ability to update values in game.
I'm just rooting for Mod Settings UI to go somewhere amazing. As it stands right now, literally not one mod uses it since CoMa is just superior in functionality as it enables the user to edit config files at run time.
