Exactly what I want, just the ability to add 5 or 10 or 20 to a standing wood torch. Unfortunately it seems to not work, I cannot add fuel. I disabled the G key and still cannot add, I broke the torch and remade it and could not add. My mods are Backpacks, BetterUI, ClockMod, yours, CreatureLevelControl, CustomContainersSizes, EpicLoot, EquipmentAndQuickSlots, moreslots, and SpeedyPaths. Thanks much for your effort.
It seems that the blue torches can not be adjusted. Maybe i'm just overlooking it, or there is another option in game to change the burn time and fill level?
Any chance it would be possible to add a configuration for how much smoke each fire source produces? Some of the fires in the game (especially the new Standing Braziers) produce a crazy amount of smoke which makes them much less viable to use in places you might want to. Being able to greatly reduce, or completely turn off their smoke production would make them much more useful as a build/decoration piece.
Anyone else having their fires go out when they aren't around, and then unable to either fuel or ignite them?

I am also running V+, but I have the firesource section disabled.
I've been using this mod for a couple weeks now, and this behavior only started in the past week. I tried updating to the newest version, but it just happened again.
Edit: Oh, and thank you for the mod! :-) Also, Scones don't seem to have this issue. They were all still lit, but all campfires, bonfires and torches were off when I came back home. And it doesn't happen everytime I leave, just when I'm gone for awhile.
Hi there, Thanks for your comment! :) I am currently participating in a Game Jam so have not been able to work on this mod recently, I will be sure to look at this issue by the end of the week though! The latest update did fix an issue where the fires would change toggle state after you left the area and returned, but this may be an issue related to the no Fuel part, also I have not tested this mod with v+ but I'll be sure to check how it can affect this mod aswell. :D
Happened on our dedicated server as well today. We left our base for a couple of hours, after we came back all campfires and torches were off (we are not running V+). Unfortunately, since we can't refuel them, i guess we have to replace the fire every time till this bug is fixed.
Hi! Having the same issue and here's a workaround I used to avoid destroying fires: use a single piece of fuel (e.g. 1 wood) on the fire by putting the wood in the hotbar and using it on the fire clicking a number key (same as placing something on an item stand). Then may need to light the fire as well.
@GoonLou, I think the bug is in the fact that even if the fires are configured to not need the fuel, they are still affected by the FuelTimeToBurn setting.
I am unsure how to edit the config file. This is what I see when I open the .dll file. Also, the ingame hotkey F1 doesn't show the mod. I downloaded using Vortex. Any help would be appreciated.
Darn, it's not working for me, possibly due to me playing with the VHVR mod; fires and torches all start as extinguished, and I can't relight them no matter which hot key I switch it to, with or without Caps being on. And building new fires or torches just puts down an extinguished fire or torch. Does the mod need to be updated for Hearth and Home?
Downloaded file seems to be 0.1.4 but when I open the config it says 0.1.3 Furthermore I seem to unable to run this on dedicated server at all. Can you please put some guidance on how to setup for dedicated server?
Edit: Problem might be at this point. Server process exe is valheim_server.exe. When I start dedicated server it says: [Warning: BepInEx] Skipping [Configurable Fire 0.1.3] because of process filters (valheim.exe)

It does seem like they're running out of fuel somehow. It's still happening with the latest version of everything.
Have fun with the jam!
