I'm going to rewrite this mod in the near future because it is not possible to fix most of the bugs with the way it's currently coded. It's going to get a config too!
Mod doesn't work correctly. Time hangs iirc around 10:46 and 10:47 and freezes. Furthermore shadows are flickering like crazy with this mod.
Really like the idea though, there is no other mod that changes the passage of time and imo it's way too fast atm. I'm running from my house to a new location aaand it's dark.
Can confirm. The time stops at 10:46. If this is the method of keeping the day longer it is uncomfortable as the shadows do as indicated flicker annoyingly. Glad I am not prone to epileptic seizures.
I enjoy this mod but the features are extremely limited and since the mod doesn't really do what its supposed to do I am avoiding this mod. It would be handy like another user mentioned to specify a day length, night length and how long each goes for rather than just throwing night all of a sudden. Even setting a day time and asking do you want to pause day time would be helpful with a command to change to night easily.
While it is very handy to have a bit more daytime on hand especially when building, there were 2 things which bugged me a little.
1) the change from day to night comes very abrubtly, one second it is day the next it is night, that is a bit immersion breaking. 2) within the config settings if possible, could we get sepperate entries for a) length of day (bright afternoon) b) length of night (midnight, moon on highest point) c) length of transition (so we could choose if an instant switch or a slower flow of time inbetween a) and b) would be prefered)
I love sunsets and sunrises, so having them also spread(configurable) out a bit more would the icing on the cake :)
can we get just a straight answer the DayFactor =2 is default what would i change that to to make the days last longer than the nights? i would like to have shorter nights they seem way to long. So i want to use this mod to adjust that. what would I change the 2 to make that happen.
Hi socastix thanks for the great mod , time goes by super fast in this game. I know this mod slows down time by pausing it in the morning but if at all possible could this be done for late morning/early afternoon when the sun is the brighest in the day? Thanks

Also, dayfactor = 2, if i increase the number I assume the day will last longer but is the night time affected as well?

Is there any estimate as to what the variable length is for this value?
Example, 2=20 minutes, 4=40 minutes, etc?
What the auther said. Seems the higher value the longer the day, to max 100.
