The aim of HD Valheim is to replace all of Valheim's textures and meshes with my own, original HD assets.
They will be hand-crafted, each carefully completed. The end result will look like a AAA game.
In other words: less Minecraft, more Skyrim.
For now, all of the textures are upscaled x4 and packaged into .assets files. The reason for this is twofold: faster load times, and the ability to override my assets via the Custom Meshes/Textures/etc. mods by the esteemed aedenthorn.
Please provide bugs and glitches in the bugs section.
If someone has already posted a bug, please don't repost it.

Each update of this mod is tailored for the latest version of Valheim. Make sure your game is up to date; note, updating your game will overwrite the .assets files. If the problem persists, try to download the mod again. Sometimes large files can get corrupted while downloading. If that doesn't work, try my MediaFire mirror. If that doesn't work, please wait for me to update the mod.

Think of this as an old-fashioned Minecraft server. Don't make this mod a dependency for the server. Instead, allow users to choose whichever texture/graphics mods they like.

This issue was always present, even in the base game. My grasses make it more apparent, however. Download Graphics Config Plus and Grass Tweaks. Tweak those settings to resolve the issue. Otherwise, download my config files.

This is simply an immersive integration of grunt noises into base recordings. Please download Custom Audio by aedenthorn, and then install this addon.
How do I install the ReShade preset?

ReShade is a powerful post processing FX injector. It works for a variety of games, and Valheim is no different. Please download ReShade from their website, and follow this tutorial to install it for Valheim.
- Delete all of the .assets files from your Valheim\valheim_Data directory
- In your Steam library, right click on Valheim > Properties
- Click Local Files
- Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
- The original files will download
