That is the terrain data that takes so long. It is a long building 20 squares long and terrain save makes a big flat 28 x 28 circle . With out terrain data it's fast but you need to terraform the land by hand. I will make one with out terrain data and post it up in a bit.

Hello ReikiGrail, the OP is talking about the offset value to use in BuildShare (formerly AdvancedBuilding) to spawn it at perfect height above terrain.
After downloading this .vbuild file and putting it in the correct folder, it will show up in the Buildlist with options to alter its spawn (Offset right, left, height, rotation).
If you need any help with Buildshare, Build files or other Valheim mods, you can join the Valheim Mods Discord which has dedicated help channels and build showcases.
The Offset for Y should be 1. I was in a bit of a rush when I posted the description earlier and left out the 1. If you have any further questions I would be glad to help.
As for your question about writing code. I just make builds, I don't code the apps. I am familiar with using them however. As SirWebster96 mentioned above you can always hop on the discord channel if you need help with the apps them selvs.

the mode to place it down
Make sure you have the latest version of BuildShare (AdvancedBuilding) - Valheim as well as InSlimVML - Valheim Mod Loader
You will see an icon for Buildshare in game. Hit tab to get control of your mouse and click on it to bring up the tool.
Just click continue and everything should be ok.
