Prevents accidentally hurting tamed baby animals with the butcher knife.

By default this mod prevents the butcher knife from hurting tamed baby animals unless you are holding down the hotkey (default left shift).
Since untamed baby animals are invincible to the butcher's knife, this should prevent unwanted baby slaughter.
You can change the hotkey or convert to a toggle key rather than a hold to slaughter key. You can also reverse the behaviour so that babies are only protected while holding down the hotkey. All of this is through the config.
Config
A config file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.PreventBabySlaughter.cfg is created after running the game once with this mod.
You can adjust the config values by editing this file using a text editor or in-game using the Config Manager.
To reload the config from the config file, type preventbabyslaughter reset into the game's console (F5).
Technical
To install this mod, the easiest way is to just use Vortex, the Nexus Mods mod manager. It should take care of all dependencies.
To install manually, place the dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder. You will need BepInEx.
