Wonder if this is still even being worked on, i've seen the dev post/retweet plenty of Tomb Raider related stuff and has seemingly done work on the remasters or at least has been providing support in one way or another by posting bug sheets. Also curious on the restoration project as DE seems to include RP as a whole...and with AoD free with Amazon Prime/Games/Twitch Prime for GOG, i believe a handful of folks will be returning to AoD and with it being a whole year since this demo was released, I can't help but be curious how far things have come.
(Also, the fact that i get to play AoD again after only beating it once like 20 years ago is very exciting and having a "modern" version with updated graphics and cut content excites me, so do forgive me if this post comes off as being excessively nosey)
Should this be called a "demo", or is it more of a beta release for community testing? Just wondering if the whole game is playable, I certainly don't mind doing some crowd source bug squashing if the whole game is playable.
I'm going to wait for the full release to try it, but I've been waiting for something like this! I hope all goes well while it's being worked on and I'll keep a close eye on it.
The Installer sadly does not accept my Launcher.exe. I have the Disc Version with Patch 49, maybe that has something to do with it. Or is it because it installs it in German? Then i would like to know how to install it in English.
Thank you for all the hard work this and its sister Restoration Project have been interesting to keep up with, I follow both here and on the TR forum.
I'm curious, do you plan updating soon with the new features of the Restoration Project? More broadly, are there plans to keep step in step with that project or will you only be updating every so often as that one sees more updates?
Were it not for my fire already packed full of irons I'd love to help, it's good to see a vision of what this game could have been coming to life. Best of luck moving forward to all of you!
Is there any way to make this work with Tomb Raider AOD Startup Config Utility? I can't stand some of the levels. I never want to experience the "Hall of Seasons" again. I am not saying that it doesn't work, it works but Lara's model is the original unless I start on the first level.
Wonderful work by the way. This is the first time I have actually been able to play the game, so thank you greatly.
It will only let me install to the C drive and not any other drive, even though all the AoD and Definitive Edition files are on a different drive already. I don't have enough space on my C drive so I cannot install. Clicking the other drive in the installation wizard, which it calls an "unused drive" does nothing.
The app for the controller is not working completly. All the buttons are not recognized, better try with another software tho... What about the full version? Can't wait!
Hmm that's strange. AntiMicroX doesn't seem to be an issue for most. I'm curious if you managed to get it working eventually? Maybe it was an issue with the connection of the controller itself?
Thanks so much! The full release will be a long time from now, but I can assure you that it will come. I'm so confident that when it does, that this will be the ultimate way to experience AOD and all of its glory, finally! Together with the fully implemented Restoration Project we're finally giving AOD the polish it deserves.
