Do you honestly see this as an improvement? Removing the blue tones actually makes it look like the sky shading has been removed completely, making the game look much less realistic. Light tends to bounce off the ground and reflect on certain objects from below, go outside and you'll see what I mean.
To the author of this file... Dude, I have a crazy idea for you. Try going out. To see how outdoors actually look like. You've just taken a game with overdone warm tones and made it more RED. Genius.
That happens when you desaturate a very present color, as red is one of the colors that are a lot present on this game, they now pop up more, 'cuz there's no equilibrium color such as aqua/blue, but i don't expect you to realise that. Don't be a jerk and post a respectfull opinion next time.
I´m not excusing his rudeness. But yeah, you really didn´t make the game look more realistic. It just look unnaturally desaturated and the color pallete is completely unbalanced. Like, dude, the sky is gray now. Come on. That should be a good indication that you went way too far. Outer Worlds color pallete does look weird, but is not simply because of color saturation, is because of the actual color choices used in the textures and lighting of the game.
I get it, you're totally right, but the problem here, is that the sky and pallete are the same colors, so accidentallty you end up adjusting both of them, i admit, i went too far, either was desaturate or idk, change the hue to give a better look? It would end up weirder too. Sudenly i can't switch off the game filters like skyrim, but i think we'll get there, until then, we can only mess with reshade :/ But that's a more pleasing discussion, thanks for the heads up.
Yeah, spotted it independently, the red/browns in the white highlights just doesn't work for me. But thanks for provided such good before/afters to see that, your efforts much appreciated. Cheers!
I would love to see something 1/2 way between the in-house blue filter and this mod.. Is there a tutorial walk-through vid, for this kind of process I'm no newb, which is why I'm asking, instead of rushing in
Where does the CleanerOuterWorlds.ini go? I don't see that in the instructions. Edit: Okay it goes in Program Files\Epic Games\TheOuterWorlds\Indiana\Binaries\Win64
Copied qUINT_lightroom.fx to the correct spot but I had errors about not having qUINT_common.fxh so I copied that one over and the errors went away. That file must be needed as well? Should be in your instructions.
Thanks for thw feedback, you'll have all the files you need in that same site "github" it cones with the qUINT-master pack, i'll update as soon as my pc internet comes back, the little details i've forgot :\ but thanks once again, i'll fix it ASAP
Thank you for the feedback, i'm really glad you liked, the sharpening filter drops my fps a bit and depending on tje resolution, those values may not be correct. I would put some ini tweaks too, but i decided to focus on reshade here. Thanks once again for helping me fix the info :)
Not a stupid question haha It doesn't ffect much, i have a 750 tu and it runs with some 45 fps, with this reshade it drops to some 40's, but probabilly is my gpu. Sharpening filter plays a big roll here, you can always lower the values or disable it.

Do I just rename it to convert to an .ini file?

After having everything in good working order with this mod, I have to say, it really looks great! (Although my preference is to keep sharpening off)
Then I also added in many engine.ini settings from Tweaked Outer Worlds mod.
