is this meant to effect helmets? none of my helmets have slots, but some of them have the 4 dots(random number of them filled) as if they had mod slots
Both your mods crash the game I tried putting them in 1 at a time and both at the same time and they crash the game. I do not have any other mods besides your 2 mods that add mod slots on weapons and armour
I used all of the mods i uploaded together and didn't encounter any problems. I will try them again in a new play though. The original mod that i uploaded contained unique armors and caused crashing problems. In the vanilla game this was not an issue but for sce i had to remove them. I still wish to add more mods, but sce doesn't make it easy.
I have finally finished testing. The Science and some Unique weapons where causing some problems with the weapons mod. I have removed a lot of the weapons and re-uploaded them again. I haven't encountered any problems with the current uploaded files. I hope it will work properly now.
As for the armors, i haven't encountered any problems. So i assumed that it could probably be the unique armors, so i uploaded an additional version without any unique armors.

Love the idea of this mod! Sadly I'm getting a crash to desktop every time it's installed. Does anyone know how to fix that? I know the SCE has some major issues.
Is it this mod that is giving you trouble or the weapons mod? i haven't encountered any troubles with this one, only with the weapons mod. I will Take this one down if it causes troubles and try to fix it.
It's just this mod in general and the "Adjusted Tinker Cost" one. When I put these files into my Pak folder the game instantly crashes to desktop upon startup. However once the files are gone the game works fine. It might be an issue on my end, but I'm not sure. The game is a fresh installation with no other alterations. So I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm also playing on the Steam version if that makes any difference.
Update: Sooooo, your mod probably works fine. I found the issue I'm having. I'm playing the original version of The Outer Worlds. I didn't know Steam made the "Spacer's Choice Edition" a completely separate thing! I thought it would be installed like any DLC! Anyway, I was just being stupid. I don't have the SCE installed atm, but I will give it a try later!
In my experience all of the mods you made work great in the Emerald Vale, but the mod that allows us to modify weapons you usually can’t, ends up crashing the game if your not in the Emerald Vale. So what I’ve been doing is using all the mods and when I get some mods to put on weapons, I just fly to Edgewater and slap silencers on lmgs.
