STILL WORKS with original game -- NOT -Spacer's choice Edition
Alright, there's a new Spacer's Choice Edition that I just found out about.. I was out of State for a month. I don't own this and do not know how it changes the game, unfortunately. So at this time I can't update my mods for it. (actually they would be separate mods for separate games, since this new Ed is not an update) Sorry. Perhaps I will buy it, but I'm busy so can't say for sure.
From what I've read, the new edition isn't worth it if you want to play with mods, as it seems to have some new coding that affects many mods, and there's nothing new except some visual and supposed performance gains. (the new coding is only in the new edition, and the vanilla game and dlc's are separate.)
Also, it seems the modding tools I used are having issues with the new game and other modders can't open the game files. Might be another tool, looking into it.
*Sorry folks, at this time I have no desire or time to make a new mod for the new game edition - that I won't be purchasing.
Thanks for your work and sharing, Kudos given and Endorsed!
Would you fix the Assassin Perk for the Original Game, please? It's literally got a Gun as the Icon but almost no ranged weapon works with it because it's set to 2.5 meters. It seems to work on Base gun Noise Range, not with Silencer added. The Light Pistol is 2.5, it won't work because it has to be Less Than, so you could expand it to 4 meters? Atm no chance for the Autopistol I use at 3 meters.
Hi, its not working with Spacer Choice Edition. Can you please let me know how you unpack the script and pack it into pak file. I want to create a new mod for a different perk and need some help. Thanks
Yeah... haven't tried all the mods i use, individually, but pretty much all of them crashes the game before the logos appears. But, i managed to transfer my saves, at least. Just copied all my files from here %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds\ to the new Spacer's Edition folder, here: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds Epic Games\__LOCAL__ It works, but a save with 11 mods activated acts weird in a non-modded game... lol So, i'll keep waiting for the good folks from the community to try to update the mods to the upgraded version of the game, since Obsidian kind of busted it open. :/
I can't make extra perks, sorry. (you asked for 3 perks and there's only 2) If I made another optional mod with new T1/t3 #s what would you want. Edit: Since I was thinking of making a lower one before, I went ahead and did it for those that want it 75 / 150 added to Optional Files
For some reason the Pack Mule T1 200 + T3 250 didn't work for me. The other perk files I am using work fine (haven't tested tinker cost rebalance or companion perk files yet). The 200 + 250 mod didn't show any change in the perk menu or inventory screen compared to vanilla carry weight values. I switched out the Pack Mule 200 + 250 for just the 500 one and that one works fine, so idk what it is about that one specific file that doesn't want to work for me. Otherwise, I love all the other files presented and am perfectly content using the 500kg Pack Mule file instead.
Which one? I've not had that happen, and don't see how it's possible. perhaps you have a conflict? I'll check it but if you have more info that might help. try to test it without other mods. make a backup of your saves first.

75 / 150 added to Optional Files
I also added one that does a 100 + 200 for those that want only a minimal gain.
