Works as advertised! Using this mod along with extended level cap and lower tinker cost with no problems so far. Could you please add +50%, +100%, +150%, +200% dmg recieved too? Thanks.
Just a question With 7.5x HP or above, how are you surviving early game. As we all know, the earlygame is the hardest part of the game, especially the first two maps. It's not unbeatable, but I found myself barely surviving with cheap tricks like leaving the area and taking down one enemy each time.
So, any advice on how to play better during earlygame?
For me, early game difficulty is the best part of a game. And it sets a drive inside you to improve your weapons and approach to combat. If early game is easy, and later it gets hard, then (like real-life) you're taken unawares and unprepared and whine that life's too hard. Whereas those that have a hard life early on.. are much stronger for it, and better prepared for the future. Also, it shouldn't be that much harder because the difficulty scales up until you hit level 10. Meaning, at lvl 1 there's no difference really, at lvl 5, the mod is only half effective, at lvl 10, it's now fully effective. If you're struggling, this is good! You're having to think and make decisions and be cautious and learn to use tactics. Also, you realize how important upgrades are. and finding a nice weapon from a vendor or a sweet loot drop. etc. :) enjoy the game
HD_++_Less_ammo = is for all difficulties and scales. HD_++_Less_ammo/Dmg_for_1x_3x = if playing on vanilla or 3x, but need more challenge. HD_++_Less_ammo/Dmg_for_5x = use with 5x HP if you want. The 2nd and 3rd reduce your damage. 5x less so.
'The 2nd and 3rd reduce your damage. 5x less so.'
I assume you mean, the player does only 20%(=100%-80%) damage compared to vanilla? And companion does same damage?
Is there any way to get more difficulty through more realistic damage in this game? Never tried the mods for outer worlds before, so I genuinely have no clue whats possible, but I always prefer faster gunplay to bullet sponging, which is often what outer worlds becomes as it is. I'd rather the enemies die fairly fast, but have more of them, and have them be smarter, and have them kill me even faster.
Is it possible to add auto-leveling to the game by manipulating files? I modestly believe that auto-leveling would be a reasonable solution to the problem of unnecessarily simple fights.
For anyone that still feels that this game's combat offers no challenge even with all of this mods multipliers applied, I have good news! After scouring the internet for well over 3 hours looking into a solution for increasing the challenge of this game's combat I finally found a solution: THE CHEAT ENGINE!
A super easy fix that comes with a lot of extra fun options to play with besides modifying the combat hehe. All a person has to do is download and install cheat engine version 7.5 (as of this date) - https://cheatengine.org/ Next go to this adress here: https://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?t=15499 and scroll down to find a download link for: Indiana-Win64-Shipping-newFINAL.CT - this is a file that contains alot of fun options to modify the game with... super easy to figure out how to use if u have a working brain. Anyway the option that I found to work to increase the damage of enemies is called PostArmorDamageMultiplierRecieved - I am not sure what it actually does, but if you crank this setting up you will find that your character starts taking ALOT of more dmg from enemies. By default the setting is set to 1, but I turned it up to 10, and now a outlaw sniper level 12 will kill my lvl 18 character with 3 or 4 shots :D Other fun options I have found are options to modify the TTD, modify the HP regen speed (I disabled it), change how often you need to eat/drink/sleep/smoke/do drugs/drink alcohol - cause in my opinion the vanilla meter drain for all of those things is way to fast. The ONLY thing i need to figure out n ow is how to lower SAM's HP to normal level, since there is no companion hp options in this Table.

~40% less on "_1x_3x"
I'll add this in for clarity.
