I am planning to continue updating this mod. The current version still works with the most recent game update (v0.51). I'll try to figure out first what items I'd replace the newly added UltraPro products with though.
hey thanks for the mod btw, just wanna tell you the name for the card its broken. The only working one like the first ten card and they just change to default name
edit lol sorry i forget to change card name for other mod so the mod its work perfectly but how i change the ghost card name?
You don't need to change the names for the ghost cards, as they work similar to the base game's cards (the ghost cards available shares the same name as another Legendary card, as it was the same Tetramon species - or in this mod's case, the same Hololive talent).
Hello just wanna say I love the mod. But I am having the same issue a lot of others had in the past with card names not working. Not sure what the issue is anymore but just thought I would give a heads up. Just started using it today for the first time. Not sure if something new with Texture Replacer has happened recently or not. (I see it was just updated to a new version on the 26th)
What version of TextureReplacer are you using right now? I haven't tested the latest version yet, but it was working properly with TextureReplacer v1.2.3
Just downloaded your mod and noticed that most of the cards weren't changing the names properly. I did some investigating and found that the difference between working and not working object data files is the capitalization of their elements.
Examples Works Sakura Miko - Pigni_Fire_NAME Hakos Baelz - Bonfiox_Fire_NAME
Doesn't Work Gawr Gura - Amneshark_WATER_NAME Cover Staff - Beakai_WIND_NAME
Tested changing Amneshark_WATER_NAME to Amneshark_Water_NAME and it fixed the problem.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems that some recent TextureReplacer update changed how the file names work. This mod (v1.4) was working properly with TextureReplacer v1.1.8, as it was the latest version at the point this mod was last updated.
For now, if you would like to use the mod, try downgrading to TextureReplacer v1.1.8 while I try to fix this issue.
Hey I updated my vortex and it runs smoothly and all! But for some reason when I load the game it says "Day 1" in the top left and doesn't have a timer (so the day goes on infinitely) and idk how to fix that.
What other mods you've got installed? That seems to be an issue from other mods. This mod is just a retexture, it shouldn't impact how the in-game time works.
I used these files when booting up an old save that use to run holomod (but since that hasn't updated in ever I'm switching to this mod). But the issue with the never ending day happened. It even happens on a fresh new save, too
Turns out it's an issue with the new cards mod, you can't use vortex for it. Check the most recent discussion posts there. It most likely has something to do with how you need to patch the files in the correct sequence, which I don't know if vortex supports this or not.
If there is another update for the mod content, and if I can identify why it doesn't work with Vortex on your end. Since as I said before, I do not use Vortex. If it simply needs a file restructuring, I can work that out. But if there's something else, no guarantees I can fix this compatibility issue. Just curious though, did you manage to get TextureReplacer (or other mods requiring TextureReplacer) working with Vortex on your end?
In the latest v1.4.1 update, I tried restructuring the files in the mod zip, hopefully it can be run properly with Vortex now. Do let me know if it works or not on your end.
That's not an issue if you update TextureReplacer. This mod was created after the TextureReplacer update that changes the orientation of the plushie meshes. Make sure you're using TextureReplacer version 1.0.5 or above.
I'm still new to modding TCG. When I went to try to add this mod and all the other required mods and launch the game, when I go to open a card pack or talk to a customer the menu does not show up and I get stuck. And I'm sure many other things too. I don't know how to fix this. Any help is appreciated. is it possible to send me the folders set up already so I can just replace my own?
The instructions for this mod's installation is available on the mod page.
However, if you need a step-by-step for each of the required mods: 1. Install BepInEx to your game installation directory. You drag and drop the BepInEx folder into your game directory. Alternatively, you can also use the Pre-configured BepInEx mod. This BepInEx folder is where all your mods will be contained. Generally, for every mod you download from this site, the files will need to be extracted to the appropriate directory within this BepInEx folder. For the purposes of this mod, within the BepInEx folder there should be a plugins folder and a patchers folder. 2. Install TextureReplacer by extracting the mod into the plugins folder within the BepInEx folder. 3. To install this mod, extract the main mod files into the TextureReplacer folder from step 2 (there should be three folders in there along with the TextureReplacer.dll file: objects_data, objects_meshes, objects_textures). If this is all you wish to play with, you're all set.
4. If you want to install the additional cards patch as well, you need to first install the Add Entirely New Cards mod. That mod has two folders you need to place within the BepInEx folder: a patchers and plugins folder. 5. Likewise, the additional patch (optional files) of this mod also has those two folders. Place them over the same directory within your BepInEx folder, and overwrite any files when asked to (this should be the config.ini file). You are now all set to play with the full mod, when you open your game and access the album, there should be 164 pages of Tetramon and Destiny cards. Alternatively, you can check the TCG Prices from your phone to see if all the cards have been properly replaced.
I never used Vortex before, sorry. But if I were to guess, maybe it's because the application tried to patch it from a wrong directory. You can try putting the extracted zipped files inside another folder to simulate the directory as if you patched it manually (but I don't know if this is possible with Vortex, do let me know if it works or not). So for the main files, it would need to be contained within "BepInEx\plugins\TextureReplacer\(the extracted files here)" And for the additional patch, it would need to be within "BepInEx\(the extracted files here)"
I see. Sidenote about the extra cards patch. If I already have a save file, can I apply that patch and then open that save file and everything will be fine? Or would I need to start over?
You'll be fine if you use a pre-existing save file, it just gives you more cards to collect. However, after you use the mod with the extra cards and then save it, that save can no longer be used if you uninstall or change the mod with another card replacement mod (at least, from my understanding of the "Add Entirely New Cards" mod disclaimer).
Ok so for example let's say I download that mod to go with your hololive tcg mod. If, somewhere down the line, I decide to use a different hololive mod, would the extra cards still be there or would they only work with your mod? Also, would that mess up my new save if I switch over to a different hololive mod that doesn't use the extra cards mod?
If you switch to another card mod which only replaces the base 121 cards while still using the additional 43 cards from my additional patch, it theoretically should still work fine. However, if you switch into another card mod entirely that have a different amount of total cards, you would need another save file for that.
