This is a port  of my
ALIEN COLLECTION

with some tweaks and effects removed in order to keep System Shock remake playable





I N S T A L L A T I O N
first make sure to properly uninstall any other reshade

1: Download ReShade

2: Launch ReShade executable, select System Shock executable (SystemShock.exe) and Direct3D 10/11/12 dll rendering API
Skip the effect packages installation and close the installer

3: Download & extract all the content from the SYSTEMSHOCKRECOLLECTION.zip into:
System Shock - Remake\SystemShock\Binaries\Win64


Remove the same files to uninstall the mod.
(you can re-drop the content of the zip and then hit delete to remove all proper files and folders at once)


C O N F I G U R A T I O N
Use End key: to toggle the ReShade menu and select the preset from the upper left tab that you want to use ingame.

Use ScrollLock: to toggle the reshade on/off

Use PrintScreen: to take a PNG screenshot that will be located in the main folder of the game.


By default System Shock ReCollection comes in performance mode with the 70s preset loaded.
Expect a small FPS hit depending of your hardware.
Do not edit the settings and shaders unless you know what you are doing.

SystemShock 70s
Eastman 100T 5247 negative
Dark & horrific vision, cold highlights are lost within deep & muted shadows.
-This is the default preset from download-


SystemShock 80s
Eastman 400T 5294 negative - Eastman 5384 print
As for most action movies from the 80's, image is brighter, less contrasted to make action readable.


SystemShock 90s
Eastman 500T 5296 negative - Eastman 5384 print
In between the dark vision of 70s and the readability of 80s, Alien3 emphasize on copper shades and cold highlights.


SystemShock 2000s
Kodak Vision 500T 5279 negative
Bold and gritty, Alien:Resurrection is a steroïd version of the original movie with much stronger and balanced colors.


SystemShock 2010s
Redcode RAW negative - Fuji Eterna-CP 3514DI print
Digitaly shot movies from, very clean colors and photography.


SystemShock 2020s
Codex negative - D-Cinema print
Full digital and cleaner than 2010, 2020 has yet a darker photography.
