Alien Collection is a ReShade replicating the look of each Alien movies based on the camera, lenses & filmstocks used for their production.
Professional filmstock LUTS have been used to match the original films, complemented with color correction softwares to reproduce the lighting temperatures.
The aspect ratio, grain quality & lenses properties have also been redone as close as possible to each movie. Then another final color correction pass has been applied to each preset in order to reduce the colorometric differences at their absolute minimum.

Alien I - Alien (1979) 2.39:1 anamorphic - Eastman 100T 5247 negative - unknown print The original dark & horrific vision, cold highlights are lost within deep & muted shadows.
Alien II - Aliens (1986) 1.85:1 spherical - Eastman 400T 5294 negative - Eastman 5384 print As for most action movies from the 80's, Aliens is brighter, less contrasted and shot in a wider aspect ratio to make action readable.
Alien III - (1992) 2.39:1 anamorphic - Eastman 500T 5296 negative - Eastman 5384 print In between the dark vision of Alien and the readability of Aliens, Alien3 emphasize on copper shades and cold highlights.
Alien IV - Resurrection (1997) 2.39:1 spherical - Kodak Vision 500T 5279 negative - unknown print Bold and gritty, Alien:Resurrection is a steroïd version of the original movie with much stronger and balanced colors.
Alien V - Prometheus (2012) 2.39:1 anamorphic - Redcode RAW negative - Fuji Eterna-CP 3514DI print -img- First digitaly shot movie from Alien series, Prometheus has very clean colors and photography.
Alien VI - Covenant (2017) 2.39:1 anamorphic - Codex negative - D-Cinema print -img- Full digital and cleaner than Prometheus, Covenant has yet a darker photography.

I N S T A L L A T I O N It is very important to first properly adjust the game's gamma from the options/video menu.
2: Launch ReShade executable, select Alien Isolation executable (AI.exe) and Direct3D 10/11/12 dll rendering API Skip the effect packages installation and close the installer
3: Download & extract all the content from the ALIENCOLLECTION.zip into the main folder of Alien Isolation, next where the game'exe is.
Remove the same files to uninstall the mod. (you can re-drop the content of the zip and then hit delete to remove all proper files and folders at once)
C O N F I G U R A T I O N
Disable the game's grain option from the video options of the game. You can keep and max out everything else.
Use End key: to toggle the ReShade menu and select the preset from the upper left tab that you want to use ingame. Use ScrollLock: to toggle the reshade on/off Use PrintScreen: to take a PNG screenshot that will be located in the main folder of the game.
By default Alien Collection comes in performance mode. Expect a small FPS hit depending of your hardware. Do not edit the settings and shaders unless you know what you are doing.
