Hey man, thank´s for all the updated instruction regarding the Summoner Texture-Mod. I went trough the process of applying the tweaks via vodoo´n stuff, ok? It works just perfect! The 16:9 aspect ratio that is now working without any hickups what so ever is just pure goodness! Thank´s for the hard work and more importantly in sharing the info with us mate!! ;) =)
There is an Overhaul Mod for Summoner over on Steam that contains the items.vpp....I guess your's would conflict with that?...I'm guessing just use all your HD stuff except for the items.vpp?
If this is the mod you are talking about: https://steamcommunity.com/app/275570/discussions/0/540736145533833802/ It adds additional files, rather than editing items.vpp directly. So wouldn't conflict.
This game was so under rated and years ahead of its time. I loved it. Brill soundtracks to. I still have the original CD as well as the Steam Version. You might just have gotten me on a retro play here. Installing as I type LoL Excellent, Many Thanks.
The original composer Scott Lee recently remastered the sound track for the 20th anniversary of the game. What a great guy.
Runic made a music.vpp mod that switches in the remastered soundtrack for the game. https://steamcommunity.com/app/275570/discussions/0/1749023631420935445/
I have to add a WOW! here too! Seeing "summoner" under new-games-notification and was like "wwwwaaat?" :-) Totally underrated gem and ahead of its time back then. Have the CD still lying around plus the steam-version. You also made me re-install it. Good job!
Timeslip widescreen patch is limited to a max resolution of 2048x1536 (most likely you'll use 1920x1440 or 1920x1080). I wonder if someone could figure out how to update it to enable 2560x1440 and 2160p.
I got 4k working by using DGVoodoo2. With DGVoodoo2, you get Reshade support also (and sgssaa if you use nvidia inspector). You miss out on Timeslip's improvements though.
I don´t know about this one TaxAkla, can´t seem to get this Patch to work. . . Though the 16:9 aspect ratio is acomplished through this patch, the UI because of the tweaks is a scambled mess. Might helping me with this one?
