A mod created using CustomCraft2, which adds new items and recipes that are supposed to make getting food and water more challenging. It is still in development, but i feel it is complete enough to be used and posted. Do let me know what you think should be changed, and report any bugs that you find.
(This mod also has recipes for De-Extinction)
Installation Instructions:
1. Download CustomCraft2 (And its requirements)
2. Extract CustomCraft2 to your QMods folder
3. Move the files from "HarderFoodRecipes.zip" into your CustomCraft2SML Folder.
4. Laugh at nellia's bad image editing skills
After that, everything should be working. If it isnt, leave a comment and i'll try and figure out why.

How to Cook Food
- Make an empty fuel canister (Fabricator -> Sustenance -> Utility -> Fuel)
- Fill it (currently, you can only use gas pods, i will be adding more ways to fill them in the future)
- You can now cook the fish using a filled fuel canister and your fish of choice.
How to Filter Water
- Make a water bottle (Fabricator -> Sustenance -> Utility -> Bottles)
- Fill it with salt water (Fabricator -> Sustenance -> Water)
- Make a water filter (Fabricator -> Sustenance -> Utility -> Filters)
- Combine the water filter and the bottle of salt water to make filtered water.
- While you can still use a bladderfish to filter your water, it will not be as hydrating.
Known Bugs/Incompatibilities
- Incompatible with any mods that edit/add recipes to food and water (Such as the Craftable Big Filtered Water Mod)
- For some reason, when crafting salt water, it will appear (and sound like) a nutrient block. No clue why this is happening, i think its a problem with CustomCraft.
Future Plans
- Add more ways to fill fuel canisters
- Add more uses for empty bottles, and bottles of salt water.
- Change the water filtration machine and heat blade
- Add more filters
- Improve general quality of mod (Assets, Names of stuff, and any suggestions in the comments)
