    As a player only what would the benefit be me having this in my QMODS folder? Would mods using this library require this file?

      The mods that require this library would need this in your QMods folder.

      There is no reall use for this as a standalone mod, but some mods that would be made in the future might require this. If so - it would be mentioned on the mod's page =)

      I just prefer linq insted of loops. no idea why btw. I know in some cases loops can make things faster, but... ¯\_(?)_/¯
