I keep having to rewrite this because I look at the description and back :(
tldr: feedback
features: options menu or separate mods battery tool switching, power info for bases, and the reticle are ones I would very much prefer to turn on/off in-game or through a mod manager. Picking up the mobile vehicle bay is a nightmare. The trick is to pick it up from the front.
deathrun aroura timer compatibility: Timer not shown when using this mod. nothing fancy as it's only 8mins. If you could add compatibility for it, that would be awesome.
Love this mod, it's everything I wanted it to be and adds more difficulty and a new gameplay aspects. I like not knowing how much oxygen I have left until I check (like IRL).
There is more feedback on the way as I've just gotten the seamoth, takes a while with deathrun. was looking for a tool/chip temperature mod, couldn't find one. doesn't exist apparently. Would very much like a mod to add a temperature guage and not conflict with this mod.
I'll be sure to make every feature in the mod toggleable on next update, I knew that would be a big one when I released. I'll also check out the Deathrun Aurora mod - I was wondering which mods would conflict, and huzzah, we found one!
I could make the temperature gauge (and jumpboost gauge for the prawn suit) appear with one of the modules, perhaps the sonar scanner module? Wait, there isn't one for the prawn suit is there? I'll have to think about that one, but Seamoth is covered at least.
Have a great week, and keep an eye out for the update!
Idk if there is a way to fix this, but how do i switch batteries with this mod installed? It's a bit of a guessing game and my character will just freeze in place if i accidentally hit R. This might be one that I would like to remain visible, but I guess I could play around it for now.
I'll add a patch that allows the battery hiding to be turned on and off, might take me a couple of days to figure out though - thanks for the feedback!
For now, I learned in my own testing that pressing "R", then "A" or "D" will switch, then "LEFT MOUSE BUTTON" to confirm. If you go left ("A"), it will take the battery out altogether. If you go right ("D"), it will start with the highest energy battery and go down each time you press right.
Hello, love your mod! It really helps to fully appreciate the atmosphere the game provides without too much on the screen.
I do have one question about the self-scan feature. It doesn't appear to be showing my player stats? I thought initially because I had my stats almost in the clear but even when low, they do not show after self-scan. Is this because I don't have compass feature?
Hi alylorrayne, thanks for trying out my mod! The compass module is not needed for your player stats to appear. If the mod is working correctly, a self-scan from the Scanner tool should make your player stats (oxygen, health, food, and water) appear in the bottom left corner where they normally live. This feature only works if you self-scan for at least 1.0 seconds (completing a full self-scan should work). The stats should appear on screen for roughly 3-5 seconds, depending on how long you held the self-scan for.
So, if you are completing full self-scans and the stats are not appearing you have found a bug! Oh, but also make sure you are not in creative mode - no player stats in creative mode. I'll watch here, let me know if indeed this is a bug and we can try and find the cause.
Oh, also, can you explain what you meant by this phrase "I had my stats almost in the clear..."

I do hold down the self-scan feature for at a few seconds. "In the clear" meaning majority of my stats are at 100% prior to scanning.
I'm also playing survival mode :) Thank you for responding!
