About this mod
Adds a third person view you can toggle on-the-fly. Press the Move Up and Move Down buttons at the same time to toggle. Hold them for 0.25 seconds to configure distance.

This mod adds three different third-person modes:
- Active mode: the game is playable normally (more or less)
- Scenic Configuration mode: the player is frozen in place and the camera distance and pitch can be configured
- Scenic Piloting mode: the camera can be rotated around a vehicle while it moves
(You can use the configuration manager mod to configure keyboard controls!)
There is one button-stroke required: MoveUp + MoveDown. Press them at the same time.
You can short press less than 0.25 seconds.
You can long press longer than 0.25 seconds.
In the Cyclops:
- short press to move between first person and scenic piloting mode.
- long press to go to scenic configuration mode. If you're already there, go to scenic piloting mode.
In other Vehicles:
- short press to go between first person and active mode.
- Long press to go to scenic configuration mode. If you're already there, go to scenic piloting mode.
As just the Player:
- short press to go between first person and active mode.
- long press to go to scenic configuration mode.
In Scenic mode, you can pan and zoom the camera around the player. Camera distance is saved when leaving Scenic mode. That means you can use Scenic mode to configure how far away the camera is from the player. This is useful for getting the whole Cyclops in the frame as you drive it.
You can configure the third person camera's distance and pitch per-use-case basis.
Known issues:
- Sometimes targeting works funny in third person. I can't always click something when I think I should be able to.
- The PDA is hard to use in third person view.
