   the menu in the upper left hand screen that is for connections, i cant remove. its in the way of another mod  'capsule scanner' and frequently interrupts game controls atm, sorry to say. can i get some insight on how to toggle it off at the least?

   FYI to other users, if you're not interested in the multiplayer aspects of this mod, then you should use the single-player mod Randomiser Remade which doesn't require any external connections.

      Agreed, it handles singleplayer better. Though both do different things as well.

   is it required that i have the Archipelago from https://archipelago.gg/ or is it optional?

      It is required, though you don't need to install it, everything can be done through the website and it will host a server for you.
      You can install it if you want to play offline or over LAN though.
