Having decided to give custom islands a try, I downloaded a half dozen or so and this is my favorite of the bunch. I like the centralized mesa/plateau for building on. I had just started a new game, so camped out on the shore for a while as I built up a supply of food and water and gathered building material.

There're plenty of yucca trees on this island, enough to support nine farming plots without needing to plant any yucca and I have a large pile of fibrous leaves on the beach that continues to grow.

If I had to offer complaints they would be that I had to import Ajuga from another island and since there are no pigs, more sharks would be helpful (the description implies there are a lot, but I've only encountered one or two so far at day 55), but those are minor things. Thanks for sharing this island!

Does this map have no crabs? I can't seem to find any, which means I can't get the kill a crab tutorial to go away...I can just go do it when I get on another island, but why not have any crabs? I guess that means you have to live off coconuts until you find taters? Or you can get fish, but that tends to be tedious lol

yeah, I haven't played since this game basically first came out, fish are soo much easier to get now. No need for apologies man! You didn't have to make the map lol, but you did, and it's awesome! Very, very good, especially for first map!
