Version 2.4
- Increased quality of tree meshes
- Selectively increased other mesh polygons
- Adjusted mesh LOD distances / screen percentage (Epic now has 50% higher poly mesh LODs - thank you to Ondow Mosa)
- Enabled bokeh for non-cinematic depth of field
- Reduced hitches by further reducing texture streaming to 2 per frame
- Fixed a hitch by disabling garbage collection clusters
- Reduced Respawn reflections to 2 per frame
- Configured all settings for Ultra+ to work correctly in Linux (untested so far, please let me know how you go)
- Limited shadow predraw from unlimited to 1.0ms per frame
- Reduced streaming boost from 2.0 to 1.5... 1.5 fixes a lot of pop-ins, 2.0 is more costly but has little improvement
- Slightly reduced sharpness based on people's feedback (1.2 to 1.0)
- Tweaked subsurface scattering (again)
- Disabled some network options

- Actually disabled GC clustering this time
- Fixed using incorrect folder for mod managers
- Forced using all cores for the game via ini launch options

Version 2.0
- Significantly improved temporal upscale ("dynamic resolution") quality so it's now playable
- Adjusted shader timing and batch sizes for DXVK, it should work well with both DX11 and DXVK now
- Increased D3D11 zero buffer memory from 4MB to 16MB
- Increased streaming temp CPU memory to 6GB
- Adjusted shader compilation timing and threads to further reduce hitching
- Fixed light occlusion not working (screen going bright). Completely disabled tiled deferred shading (it's pretty broken)
- Removed upstream pipeline bottleneck (increased s.MaxInitResourcesPerFrame to 100 - this is a drum-buffer-rope problem)
- Increased lighting draw distance from 1.0 to 1.5 which includes a lot more lights (this setting is expensive, but seems to be working okay)
- Increased view distance scale to 2.0
- Slightly reduced foliage occlusion batch size
- Reduced occluder distance from 200m to 100m
- Reduced subsurface scattering strength (scale) from 1.5 to 1.25. 1.0-1.1 is ideal for cut scenes, 1.4-1.5 is ideal for in-game. this is a balance
- Reduced textures and virtual textures per frame to further reduce hitching
- Disabled more debug/stats
- Increased DoF quality for non-cut-scenes

- Adjusted frame timing
- Increased grass draw distance (I'll add this to scalability / video settings soon)
- Reduced pop-ins of shadows by disabling mesh streaming again, the engine can't handle it without the IO cache
- Switched from UE's sharpening to CAS (they're both good, though)
- Reduced target shader precompile time per frame
- Disabled Respawns modifications/delays to the texture streamer

Version 1.0-rtm
- Hopefully disabled Respawn's streamer modifications (sorry i thought I'd done this in rc1!)
- Fixed niagara shader compilation to fix niagara hitches (also thought I'd done this in rc1)
- (Re)disable mesh real-time streaming to reduce load on texture streamer since there is no IO cache
- Increased foliage draw distance
- Fixed decals popping in so close to you by increasing decal draw distance from 1.0 to 2.0 (I will add this to scalability later)
- Attempt to fix some shadow pop-ins by reducing static mesh LODs again
- Reduced hitches by further reducing streamed textures per frame from 16 to 8, since I can't configure Oodle worker thread concurrency in UE 4.21.2
- Switched to CAS sharpener, though it's pretty similar to UE's sharpener which is also very good
