yeah tbh, could be right, ive kinda lost interest in battlefront 2 modding cause the game is (mostly) dead and frosty is just annoying to deal with sometimes, and besides that im often just busy irl anyway
Hey Ultistinct! I know it may be too much to ask, but do you think that you could make an alternative or Add-on file for his Head or helmet to be less mobile, kind of like the way it looks in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsbattlefront22017/mods/2701 I just feel that Vader's head movement looks better when it's more restricted because of the helmet. I'd pay you to do it if you give me your Paypal!
While it is more movie accurate, disabling the head movement makes him look very stupid. When he does emotes his head is turned the other direction and his head bobs side to side while he runs.
Hahaha "Look very stupid". I didn't say "disable". I have not seen a mod that completely disables his head movement by the way. I mean less mobile, so that the helmet neck doesn't bend or deform.
He can move his head in the movies, at the very least at the neck a bit. He very clearly is looking at people when talks to them in the movies and fight scenes, even if it is a bit rigid, it's not as rigid as mods that disable his head movement.
Primarily, I would prefer that his helmet neck-piece doesn't bend and deform, like it does in the vanilla game and all mods that don't change that. It looks like it's made of rubber, not metal. That's what I mean by making the head less mobile, and if to acheive that look you have to disable head movement while keeping neck movement or something like that (I'm not a modder, I don't know), so be it. THAT is more movie accurate. I have no idea of what you mean when you say that he can "move his head in the movies". The face mask and the neck-piece are rigid and screwed-in together, which means he CAN'T move his head independently from his neck. They move as one, which he CAN do in the mod I mentioned, you can clearly see it in the "Apology Accepted" emote.
Look at this video. When he has Luke cornered he's looking right at him. You don't understand what I'm saying. My point is not that the vanilla game is incorrect, it's that it just looks weird and off putting when you disable his head movement like that mod.
I've already told you. The way it moves in the game looks like if the neck-piece, which is supposed to be metal, was made us rubber, it bends and deforms when he turns his head. The video you show proves my point, not yours. And again, his head (or to be specific, his helmet) does move even in the mod you say it doesn't. It moves in a restricted way, because the suit Vader wears (specially the helmet) is restrictive. You just see what you want to see, or ignore it to make a point.
If you're just going to insistently argue about it and ignore what I'm saying then that's fine. I still stand by the fact that it looks dumb when you disable his head movement (since that word is offending you, I guess I should say "restrict" it) and DICE clearly did not intend for it to be that way.
Very dumb that you called my request dumb, when you're only defense for your position is "it looks weird and jarring", which is tantamount to: I dont like it (no one asked YOU) and "It looks more natural wrong than correct to the movie". An ironic position comming from someone who just published a mod about "Accurate Farmboy Luke". Compare that to my argument, quite succinctly: metal doesn't bend that way; not to mention that... it's not movie accurate. You don't like to be wrong, don't you pal?
epic, new favorite vader mod. Only one question: could you make the cape go over the shoulder armor, like here: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/2229/images/3395/3395-1597006892-56354071.png
