- Replaces the following in-game sounds with samples extracted from the J. J. Abrams Kelvin Timeline Trek films:
- Warp Drive Spool Up
- Warp In
- Warp Out
- Transwarp Flash
What it does not affect:
- Discovery-era Warp In sound
- Discovery-era Warp Out sound
- Spore Drive Warp sounds
Installation:
- Place the folder "sound" from the ZIP archive into your game installation "localdata" folder. It should look like this: "...…..\Star Trek Online\Live\localdata"
Uninstallation:
- Simply delete the above folder (or the loose FSB files), and the game will revert back to default/vanilla sounds.
Other remarks:
- Will future game patches cause this sound mod to stop working? If said patch involves changes to any of these related sound files or their FSBs, possibly. If that happens, simply uninstall the mod as per above instructions to at least get default/vanilla sounds back.
