This is a Reshade pre set aimed to give Star Trek Online the dramatic visuals seen in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. Light reacting lens dirt, gaussian blur and
filmic colour tone to match the visual style seen in the series.

Hello, and thank you for downloading my preset for Star Trek Online. Hopefully, this pre set adds effectsseen in recent Star Trek series Discovery and most recently Picard. As with the previous version, this has all the same effects as before, but I've tweaked the in game glow effects tobe more vibrant, so bussards and nacelles look more alive, and hopefully I've balanced it enough that menu UI's are not effected too much. The good thing with reshade is that you can select either the previouspre set or my new one from the reshade menu, so If you prefer the original, you can switch back and there's no need to replace the original file.
INSTALLATION:
1: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Pretty straight forward really
.2: Install Reshade to the "Gameclient.exe" located in the x64 folder of Star Trek Online. (My preset was created using Reshade 4.8.2, as this version has a few old filters missing with the current version. If you install 4.8.2 first, then apply my pre-set, you can update 4.8.2 to the latest version with no issues)

3: Place DiscoPicard FX 1.ini file in the x64 folder and your good to go.4: Star STO, and press home when in game to bring up Reshade menu and click on the bar at the top to select a pre-set, then select DiscoPicard FX.I've also posted a video on my YouTube channel, with installation instructions too, and you can always leave a message if your struggling
NOTE: I would suggest installing version 4.8.2 first and select all the shaders to download when prompted by the reshade installer. Once its done installing, there should be an "edit" tab at the bottom right of the installer. Click it, and you can click a little box to skip the tutorial if you want and at the top there is an option to select a Pre set you want to start up with.
This way, the game automatically starts with that as default, and you can update Reshade as normal when ever a new versions released.
DiscoPicard FX 1.1 Demorecord.ini:
This has all the same effects as before, but I've added a slight film grain and adjusted the bloom to match the effect shots in Discovery and Picard. I've also added a flare effect which looks similar to the anamorphic lens flare used, so windows and other light sources have a horizontal flare effect. I do plan on adding a proper Anamorphic lens flare, but the one in Reshade at the moment is way too bright and does not adapt to colour.
