Hi I'm the ThirstSector guy. Just wanted to say your mod looks great and I sure as hell was never going to get around to it, so I'm gonna direct people looking for a Mayasuran Navy replacer to look here :D

Hey, thank you very much! You were the whole inspiration for me to make this, so it really means a lot!

Hey very nice job! However you should at least create a mod_info.json for those of us that use smol or other mod managers.

It looks like a lot of information, but since this is just a portrait replacer the biggest thing is the game version. Special happy bonus smile social points if you include a link to the mod page so we can easily hop over here and check if there's an update!

Thanks for your comment, and sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

      A few things:
First of all, you're completely correct that I should have had a .Json file in the mod. The reason I didnt was out of inexperience alone. However, after making the .json I found out that I couldnt get the mod to override MN when I activated it in the ingame launcher. I did a lot of digging and trying to troubleshoot it, and I came to the same conclusion that the author of the thirstsector pack did; it's easier to just manually override the mod (or use vortex to do it). So, unfortunately I cant make a .json file or it breaks the load order in the game.

Working on fixing this was the reason I hid the mod in the first place, but I got busy irl. Sorry for keeping the mod hidden so long.

Also, there is a link to the page for the mod page of MN in the mod requirements. I'll see about updating the page to have it in the description too.

The way to override another mod is to change the id of the mod in the mod json, to something like "id": "zz_modname".
This is because the game launcher loads in alphabetical order.

Load order and overwriting are two different things. I wish it was as easy as you say, but even if I load the mod last (using the id as zz...) it still reverts to the original portraits. I'm still trying a couple of things, but the time I have to work on the mod is a lot less than when I originally published it. Thanks for trying to help regardless, I really do appreciate it!
