Enable both of them to get both.
Extract to Starsector/mods or in the mod manager of your choice.

New images added for new characters and portraits.
This replaces ALL vanilla portraits AND characters with anime-styled replacements.
This is a separate mod that that needs to be enabled in your mod manager.
