Hi, Me again, i know you love hearing from me ;) i had a kind of request, i use a mod that adds Vanguard versions of the gear, same as the navy stuff just Vanguard, i know the XX000 numbers will always need to be edited to make any actual changes, can you like, supply a template so i could add them manually to the list so they are sorted like everything else? if this request doesn't make sense ill try to explain it better.
I hadn't really planned on branching out into any mods, tbh. The format is pretty easy, as the files are just text files.
Open one of CDO's files (the one related to what you are wanting to add, in this case clothing. Copy the bracketed header into a new text file so that your additions don't get overwritten when CDO updates as well as just one of the lines from CDO.
There's your template.
Use xedit to open up vanguard armory and copy each item's FormID # and replace the FormID number in the template with it, using the rest of the template line to give your new description.
Lather, rinse, and repeat. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. :D
just a quick thing i noticed, you have clothing (sanctum): vestment - no gloves and the alternate just as clothing: Vestment - Gloves, was just wondering about the two classifications, also the ensign gear you get from the crimson fleet missions are unclassified
I can fix the sanctum vestment in the next update, no problem.
But yeah - the ensign gear is named weird and I need to actually DO that quest to see which outfit is which so I can tag them properly, as xedit's info about them doesn't say which belongs to whom. :(
i just realized that the ensign gear one will definitely be a hassle, if you spawn them in with the id's you just get "ensign outfit" and no names, so that probably does not help the situation lol
Yeah. In my working copy, I named them as I found them while doing the quest, restarted the game for the changes to take effect, loaded up the save to make sure it was right, and they were jumbled up. They get named from a script, as-needed, I think, but each has different buffs so I may rename them just after that fact so you can see which buff you'll get if you pick it up, since picking one up in the quarters despawns the other one in the quarters while the third is still obtainable in the security office.
Odd - I've never gotten all three before and I pick up EV-ER-Y-THING. LOL I've only done the mission like three times before though, so it may have been a thing when I did it but got changed in an update or something since.
Dunno.
The completionist in me is happy to hear that though.
I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading your changelogs and comments since I started using this. You're a riot FYI, resources cannot be renamed (Rothicite = Gallium) cuz it won't affect the requirements in a recipe. It'll still call for the original name and just think you don't have any. Took me forever to figure out why I couldn't procure any Rothicite (vendors, console search, ect). Broke down and worked on a couple skills to be able to get a Rothicite outpost going just to discover Gallium was being output instead and it finally all made sense. I'm assuming it was your mod cuz the name reverted when I removed it. So yea, however it was done, it apparently doesn't affect material requirement lists in recipes.
This doesn't quite make sense, since the vendors, crafting benches, etc., SHOULD work off of the FORMID, which never changes, but looking into it. Could you submit this under the Bugs tab for tracking please?
Glad that you are enjoying the rest of the mod and the humor though. You can just disable the Resources txt and use the rest of it without having to remove the rest of the mod. About to fix the FOMOD in that aspect soon.
[Edit] Waaaaaiiiiiiiiitttt... I see what happened. Thank you for pointing this out! I have a merged mod in my playlist that contains some renames and accidentally pulled those renames instead of the actual names. Fixing them now and will upload soon!
I am assuming that based on your edit you don't need it submitted into bugs anymore? I'll check back in case you do. If extra info helps (if still relevant) I hadn't checked the industrial workbench for vanilla recipes calling for Rothicite cuz I didn't think it'd make a difference. What I was trying to craft was the quality tier 6 weapon mod from Gambit77's Craftable Quality mod which called for Rothicite. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/5721 I'm assuming thou that whether it be a vanilla recipe or one from a mod it pulls the name from the same place? Either way, glad I could help
Yeah - no need to submit it to bugs. I was asking for Venpi's aid in testing the bug you reported and he had a similar, but not directly connected, one as well with resources and advised dropping that section of CDO for now, which is what the current update does. I explain it a bit better in the changelog.
just a quick question, hows the wifi with the new booster? also i noticed the accessories neurocom have a - between the names and the boost and tac do not, just asking if that was intentional or just a hidden oopsie
ok, so, after playing with this mod its a total game changer for me, downloaded, endorsed, followed, side of stalking, i cant wait for your completed works!
What are you talking about? It's more than just a 'side', from my POV. The wifi in this hole you dug in your living room floor is terrible, which is why updates take so long. How about sending down a WiFi repeater in the bucket next time instead of all this lotion? Oh, and please crank up the volume on "Goodbye Horses" next time you play it. Not sure what you're doing up there while its on, but it helps me focus on sorting better.
In all seriousness, glad its made you so happy. Next update starts the FOMOD version and branching out into other categories!
Hi, thanks for the mod. I notice the vacuum tape item has the prefix "Parts:" (plural), while most others I've come across had "Part:" (singular). Is this intended?
I didn't see this post until after uploading the most recent (2.0) update, so it didn't make it in, but VERY good catch - thank you. There were actually about 4-5 parts with this error. They have all been corrected to be "Parts:", plural, and the change will be reflected in the next update
Thank you again for the sharp eye and I'm glad you're enjoying the mod!
CDO is just a text file. RealTimeFormPatcher is the only item that needs to be updated to work with SFSE. As long as you keep that up to date, CDO will work!

In CDO_Misc.txt there's this line:
Starfield.esm~0016D4C9|name("Quest: Freestar Archival Code")
However, the other two archival codes aren't listed:
UC05_ArmisticeCode_UC "UC Archival Code" [MISC:0016D4C8]
UC05_ArmisticeCode_Varuun "Va'ruun Archival Code" [MISC:0016D4C6]
mod in question for example:
Vanguard Armory
