About this mod

Makes the Starborn Guardian less empty. Adds furniture, crafting, storage containers, and a little decor to the interior of the NG+ ship.

Changelogs
It turns out Bethesda made a conscious decision to leave the Starborn Guardian player ship empty of interior furnishings. They created Starborn-themed items to fill it but left them unused in the final release.  I think they secretly wanted us to find them and put them to use in our own way.  Wish fulfilled!  This mod pulls those cut game files from the dustbin and adds them back along with some other remixed objects to furnish the interior of this stylish but otherwise empty ship. Now you and your crew can feel at home here.

Added items include:
- A nice double bed for you and a sleeping companion.
- Beds for other crew members.
- A galley with cooking station, table, and bar.
- Weapon, spacesuit, industrial, pharmaceutical, and research workbenches.
- 4 crew stations in the central bridge area.
- Desks, couches, and other occasional furniture.
- A scale model of the Starborn Guardian for you to ponder.
- An unlimited personal storage locker for you, the captain, and 200 kg storage chests for each crew member.  Now you don't have to keep all that extra crafting stuff at the Lodge.
- Miscellaneous items to make the space feel lived in. These clutter items are all completely static, so no one will accidentally knock them over and make a mess.
- No lavatory. It was just too hard to do. I couldn't figure out how to add it without it looking janky.

To create a sense of progression as you advance through NG+1 to +6, I have added a few items incrementally.  The clutter decor, for example, won't spawn until NG+2 (Starborn Guardian II).  The unlimited storage container won't spawn until NG+3.  The display model of the Starborn Guardian won't spawn until NG+4.  Starborn Guardian IV, V, and VI will have the whole lot.

Installation:
Install with Vortex or MO2, and add "FurnishedStarbornShip.esm" to your plugins.txt file (unless you're letting your mod manager handle that file, in which case it should do it for you automatically).  Everything will spawn with the ship itself when you enter NG+.  Everything should spawn automatically upon installation no matter where you are, but if you run into problems, try installing the mod while you're in a different cell from the ship.  My items may not immediately spawn into a ship you already own, especially if you install the mod while you're on the ship.

If you install both the main Furnished Starborn Ships file and the Furnished L-K Ships file, Vortex will tell you there are file conflicts.  That's normal, and happens because there are duplicate meshes, textures, etc. in the two files so they can stand alone.  Just tell Vortex to prioritize one or the other; doesn't matter which set loads first.

Requirements:
None.  Just the base game.

Compatibility:
I've added all my items to the blueprints for the Starborn Guardian ships (I-VI) and tried to avoid making unnecessary overrides to vanilla records in order to keep the mod lightweight and not interfere with other mods.

The only mod that I know conflicts is the one that adds a bed via script, because I put other furniture in the same spot.  I reuse vanilla textures, so retexture mods may affect my models in unexpected ways.  Other mods that alter the interior of the Starborn Guardian shouldn't really conflict.

The mods All Cockpits Have Decoration Panels and Decorate Starborn that add a player home interior builder panel work just fine with this.  (I have even added an optional file version for compatibility with the All Cockpits... mods.)  So does Customizable Ship Interiors.  You can use one of those together with my mod to customize your ship.  Items built with those mods will disappear in NG+, though, while my items will respawn.

Mods like Starborn not Toddborn and Buffed Starborn Suits and Guardian Ship that change the ship's cargo or combat stats will not conflict.  In fact, I recommend using one of them to make the ship more viable in combat.  It's pretty weak otherwise.

I'm delighted to report that TheOGTennessee has published a patch to make this mod compatible with his excellent TN's Class M (and Starborn Guardian) Ship Building mod.  You can download the patch at his mod page.  Thanks TN!

Lastly, I've posted an optional file to make this mod work on Lighthorse's L-K Ships mod.  It includes a fomod installer with two choices of crew station locations.  You will of course need to have L-K Ships installed as well if you use this.  Lighthorse generously created and provided this file himself.  Thanks Lighthorse!
