New version released with some fixes and file format updates to keep in-line with the Creation Kit release. This mod was also included in the Bethesda.net Creations launch (for free) on both Xbox and PC for those who don't want to use Nexus or mod managers.

As the game now officially supports mods - there is no longer any SFSE or other mod dependencies.

Thank you all for your continued support of mod authors and helping each other.

Can we please get an option to disable time passing? Time passing breaks survival mods.

Absolutely loving this mod as a lore-friendly way of adding skill points ala "Dragon Soul Relinquishment". Really helps my enjoyment of the game so I can get perks without feeling the need to level grind and turn the game into a slog.

A request if you are at all open to the idea: Would it be possible to add the "Quantum Essence" totem to player homes in different cities? Or even make it a decoration we could place ourselves on our ships or homes? Mostly ask because it'd be nice to have both ways of getting skill points relatively close by each other in multiple locales.

I wish there was a version that could only use quantum essence! Like TESV's dragon soul relinquishment mod.

Hi. I have two things to bring to your attention.

First, I would really like a mod that allows me to simply get a perk point back and lose the progress I made on that skill. So, for example, lets say I have three points in Ballistics, but I decided I no longer want three points but only two. So I would do something to get my perk point back giving me a free perk point and giving me only two perk points in Ballistics but it would show the progress I made on that skill is set back to zero kills with Ballistic weapons.

Secondly, I can't seem to get your mod to work for whatever reason. The only thing I can think of that changed this is that I did the process for Starfield .nif Mesh Path Migration Tool for SF 1.11.36.

Otherwise, this is a list of my mods. I have no idea which is the culprit. I tried using your mod on both Nexus and Creations. No luck getting it to work.

([Edit] Your mod is installed just fine. It is just that the game deselects the mod for some reason. It does this both in the load order on Vortex and in Creations. I have no idea why it does this. It just deselects it when I boot up my game.)

([Edit 2] I found out what the problem was! I had to wait till the mod loads everything before getting into my save! Duh!)

([Edit 3] I found out that my none of my Creation mods were loading. I had to change the settings and the load order. Don't know which one fixed the problem. My go-to is to use the Creations unless the Creations are not working for some reason. But I found that this mod does work with creations, finally! Great mod! Happy to endorse!)

    Could use better options menu.

Setting to 0.5x currency only gives you 2500 off the first perk, then immediately follows the 2x formula curve, not much of an option at all.

The time pass is also extremely detrimental to anyone playing with any food/drink survival. would love to see a 5-10 perk at a time option.

I must be terrible at making money, 160k for a single point seems absolutely insane. considering there are something like 360 perks required to get every skill with upgrade. a level 50 would have to spend about 43,000,000 credits to obtain them all.

Any chance we could get a version with no credit spending and only the quantum essence method?

I like the potential of this mod, but I think we need new vendors and new ways of spending the currency,  the pilgrim, from the main quest, or a hermit teaching teaching meditation. A prisoner or an interrogation tape from some poor soul in Vulture Roost.  That ran foul of mercs, and lots of other things we can come up with. Someone in the well, a monk, remember knowledge transfers though unity, not things

I'd love to see a version of this based on NeuroAmps.  Equip the Amp, grade 1 - 4 and get the skill.  Perhaps the higher tiers require the lower tiers to also be equiped, or maybe you just need the higher ones, or maybe you have actually developed the skill to a point and want the NA to access tier 3 or 4 without putting more points into it?  Either way, they are expensive and allow the player to gain skills they otherwise might not have enough skill points to access.  Only one type of NeuroAmp can be equiped at a time and possibly need to go to some type of "ripper doc" in a major city (or just Neon) for installation.
