As of right now this mod will be outdated for the time being as i plan on updating it with my next major update which will add few thing, please bear with me as i have a lot going on a lot of commission plus real life stuff but i promise you both this and UC Armory are being worked on
I recently returned to Starfield and checked out what's available on Creation Club. Again, these are excellent! These skins are superior to a lot of the paid stuff.
I've been away from starfield for quite some time and have been planning on returning for Shattered Space, Are you still working on a new version? I really enjoyed using these in my last playthrough and wondering if they will still work with the DLC or if they will require an update?
I am currently experiencing a bit of a creator block with the Marines, but I intend to complete this project for the DLC. If additional UC armor is introduced, I may focus on that as well. I will ensure to thoroughly review everything before uploading to avoid any potential issues.
Fantastic mod! I really enjoyed playing as a UC Vanguard and felt like the vanilla game short-changed them on equipment. While the initial Pilot suit is good, I love that this mod gives them robust armor for both squashing Xenos and fighting the Crimson Fleet. Outstanding!
So far, I've been able to modify and upgrade the quality of all the armors at a workbench. However, I haven't been able to improve the UC Navy Fatigues (regular, Recon, Armored, or Duty). Is that normal? I'm trying to figure out if I messed something up in my load order.
I'm thrilled that you're planning to continue this mod. I hope the 'coffee' I sent over will help!
Hey thanks i just got your email and i really appreciate it knowing there people out there that want to support me, i have more plans to get stuff done and give you guys, but atm starfield and i are having a disagreement haha trying to learn everything and it been a pain but thank you soo much
Oh that’s awesome! Thanks. As an idea — which you may of already had — would be awesome to have random Vanguard spawn with it too and maybe have NPC’s acknowledge it as Vanguard uniform in dialogue. Anyway, I Hope it all goes well and wish you all the best my man! And sorry for the late reply, I don’t check this much and wasn’t expecting you to be so quick at replying haha
So far it's looking good. I had wanted to download it before, but the updates killed this mod for a while. It's just too bad the NPC don't "acknowledge" your Vanguard status while wearing it, but then again I don't think they have responses for any of the apparel/spacesuit items unless it's coded in for a quest.
One thing I did notice is that in the item preview window, when viewing just the item, the helmet is showing the vanilla UC Marine texture. But if I preview it as part of my outfit, meaning it's shown on my head with the suit, the helmet texture shows up as the Vanguard version. Dropping the helmet on the ground will also show the vanilla Marine texture.
I'm guessing the items have different sections in their code/properties to display model/texture depending on if the item is dropped on the ground, being worn, or just being examined?
the navy has the beret hat also, any chance of getting a vanguard variant added in the future? hopefully you can also get the vanguard officer to match these new awesome sets :)
I really love this mod! For other people who want to use it but are getting invisible meshes, you need to use the Starfield .nif Mesh Path Migration Tool to fix it. Don't worry it's really simple, even I can do it! You gotta extract both mods, run the "Nifskope.exe" (not the noavx2 one), in the top bar, with stuff like files, view, etc, click on "Spells", and then "Bulk Update to SF 1.11.33 Mesh Paths" After that it'll want you to direct it to the folder containing the meshes you want fixed, this is why you need to extract this mod as well. Select the "Meshes" folder, and then wait for it to finish and you're done! click save and close out. You can replace the existing files in the .rar or zip it up as its own file. Hope this helps! Ignore, no longer necessary!
oh no it ok, it would have been out sooner but i wanted to add some extra details on the marine armor soo i was messing with that which is why it toke longer im aiming to upload it this week if all goes well i also might and see if i can remove the other store and add my own as idk if the other mod will be updated but who knows atm im learning thing if im able to make a new vendor then he will be up at the Vanguard HQ
sorry to bother can you make it stands alone ,since adding marines with vanguards will conflict with MonkeyChief117 mods i know it sound selfish but both mods are like must have for me ;(, also how hard was itt to make ...am considering to learn moding so i can trie my self ....but i dont know ..good luck on your mods they sick as hell
