You need to download the second main file (1.1.2) first, and then download the first one (1.1.2a) MANUALLY and copy&overwrite the files inside the installed mod. Otherwise, it will just install the 1.1.2a update files alone, without the actual base mod.
The author should have marked the update files and an actual update, and not as main file, because Vortex handles it now as replacement for the main mod, instead of an update, that overwrites existing mod files. Alternately, he could just have packed everything into ONE file and upload this as the main mod.
yeah...the way it has been done now has basically messed things up for the casual user who won't be able to manually copy the updated files into a previous complete mod.
shouldn't this be packaged with the esm and everything else that was in the previous version? I think to use the latest version you need to take 1.12 and the download this latest version manually and then replace the meshes in 1.12 with what is inside the package labeled as version 1.13 which is really only the updated meshes and nothing else.
Someone archived the 1.12 so if you dont realize that the 1.13 is an update and delete 1.12 you cannot get it back. either make it a full update or renable us to download 1.12 please
This mod and others that suffer from messed up meshes resulting in glitchy textures due to game updates CAN be fixed and used. Here's how I fixed this mod for myself:
You will have to MANUALLY install mods that need to be updated/fixed in this manner
Download and extract the mod
Extract textures and meshes out of .ba2 files and delete the .ba2 files
Run the NIF mesh path fixer on the meshes
Copy all the files to your Data folder*
*Some mods WILL NOT WORK unless they are in the My Documents Data Folder, not sure why even though I have mods that supposedly fix this.
The above means that sometimes you have to copy all the mod files to BOTH the GAME'S DATA folder AS WELL AS to your My Documents Data folder.
Some of the above might be unnecessary, but if you follow the above steps EXACTLY it will work for you in a lot of cases.
I've got the Inflictor Enhanced mod working this way as well as the TGs E-11 Blaster Rifle Standalone mod. These are two very unique mods that haven't been updated yet and will have glitches if not fixed.
I'm not sure why you don't take 5 minutes to update the mod? It would have taken about the same time as posting here. It's not that hard and would save everyone else from having to jump through hoops. And it's a nice mod so it's worth it... and thanks for doing it.
ps. for everyone else, it's not as much effort as the post above would indicate. Simply deploy the mod and then follow the instructions for nifscope.exe in the 2nd pinned post to bulk update the mesh files in the data/meshes/weapons/Inflictor_Enhanced and inflictorrifle folders. You don't need to touch the textures.
Running the last update, couldn't get it to work properly, tried all the fixes. New parts don't show, and the texture is a mess (with modded texture showing beneath the artifacts on the rifle). Do we need to wait for an update? Or did someone make it work on the last update? Thanks.
I'm working on a new patch to hopefully pack everything into ba2s and fix some of the bugs like the receiver reverting back to the vanilla skin. I'll also be doing the same with the viper so I recommend checking that out.

Do feel free to submit a patch for this if you like. I'll upload it and credit properly.
