THINGS TO DO -Make standalone items craftable. Done -Make textures standalone on standalone version. Done -Make standalone items have legendary stats . Done
Endorsed. This is a huge improvement and great replacement for the vanilla pajamas with plastic bits slapped onto them look the vanilla armor has.
If you ever need an idea and make a nonmilitary outfit, the trucker spacesuit could really use some love to get away from its current circus clown look.
Seems to be the legs and lower areas. Also the helmets seems to be broken too. I did a mission where I encountered a scene with Mercs, and the helmets had defaulted to their vanilla models.
The mod uses its own mesh files, it dosnt use base game stuff that had the name changes. so im not sure how the update would be able to effect this mod, unless I over looked something. If thats the case it would help to know what parts you are talking about.
Ok, this is not an issue with the mod. It has something to do with your end. Some people in the past (Before the update) have had that issue, but i dont remember what they did to fix it sorry. I know some of it was Vortex related.
I have reverted back to an earlier version and updated MO2 - issue still persists. I haven't really changed anything other than the game update and SFSE, and some other base mods. Don't know what is causing this but it must be pathing related.
Odd that it was working before, but not now. After the update it still works fine for me. After visually checking it all in game to make sure nothing was invisible. I looked at all the .nif and folders to make sure all the mesh files were custom. Im 90% sure all is ok with the mod.
Yes I was running the mod since release and I've always thought it was great. So odd for it now to break, in sync with the update. It's always worked before.
wow thats a mess. I only see 2 things that from my mod, and thats the chest, and leg armor. The rest is invisible, or vanilla parts that are not part of my mod.
The new update seemed to change how meshes work or their pathing, so it looks like most mods that add new or swap out 3D elements need to update.
Would you please consider this? I can't see anything that I can do on my end. As a side note, I also downloaded a very simple mod that swaps out the Mantis mesh for a different vanilla armour - completely invisible. It's the game update that has done this.
I used that tool on my other mods that needed it, that tool would do nothing to this mod. I used custom mesh, and custom paths for this mod. So there is nothing for the new update to change here, I checked and double checked man.. the issue is not with the mod, its how you have it set up, im sorry.
Im now 99% sure all is ok with this mod. I checked everything for a 4th time, and all looks good. I even ran it though https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/9234 just so I could say I did it, even though it dosnt need it, and the result was as expected (all is fine) You can see here there was nothing that needed to be updated.
There isnt much more I can do on my end. It runs perfectly fine in my game, the files and folders all look good, all is up to date, and everything in xEdit is up to snuff. I kinda wish it was something on my end so I could fix the problem for you, but I think this one is all on you to fix.
Somehow the new update repathed the meshes according to talk over on TG Galactic Expanse which was also hosed by the update. You need to update the mod with the "Starfield .NIF Mesh Path Migration Tool for SF 1.11.33". It didn't just break this mod. It broke all the mods that add new meshes. It worked fine before the update. I love this mod, so I'm praying for an update. The ecliptic are so scary with this mod. I love it.
I use most of zone's mods and was having the same issue with invisible parts after the update. I normally install manually and had reinstalled the mods in the exact same way I had before but they were all suddenly broken. Tried a few methods of installing, still broken. I finally ended up getting them all to work again though.
I decided to try installing through NMM instead of manually(I hate vortex and MO2 so I didnt even try those). I downloaded the mods manually as usual, then dragged and dropped them into NMM. Clicked install(this is after downloading and installing mod requirements manually). Went into game and couldnt find any of the pieces in the shops. Waited 48 hours. Items appear in shop, but with black shiny textures, so still half broken, but at least they werent invisible anymore. Closed the game and unpacked all the mods zip files manually. Deleted the .esm files from the data folder and copied it all into the documents/my games/starfield/data folder. Boot up the game again and it all works now.
So mod author is correct that we are doing something wrong in the install, but I still dont really understand WHAT the wrong thing is. Perhaps install instructions need to be updated, because following them exactly for manual install doesnt work anymore, but it is still indeed possible to get the mod working properly(And thank god too, because the author's mods are straight fire).
TLDR; Install mod requirements manually. Then install mods with Nexus Mod Manager. Unpack another copy of the mod separately. Delete the .esm file from the data folder of the unpacked mod. Copy remaining mod contents into My Documents/My Games/Starfield folder. Launch game. Maybe wait 48 hours for shops to refresh. Done.
I have the exact same issue. Also tried AlleyCa7's method of installing but the problem unfortunately still persists. Before the latest update it worked just fine.
Ive thought about it here and there, and would like to. I just have not set my mine on a design choice for them yet. The are supposed to be worse than crimson fleet. so I would like to make them be pretty far out there, looking like they are crazy with pieced together spacesuit parts or something.
So I had the semi invis suits issue, and what ended up fixing it was just redundancy.
I started modding before cleaning up the file locations so I have both the data folders in the game install and my documents folder.... I said screw it and dumped the mod in both locations then made sure that SFSE folders, specifically the plugins folder and contents with the (SFPluginsTxtEnabler.dll) was in both locations: and then it was working. If I had more patience to figure out where exactly it fell apart I could give more input but with the big update dropping soon I'm sure things are going to get jumbled up again and I'll go back and just do clean game/mod install and start from scratch. Just leaving my 2cents here in case it helps anyone narrow down issues they had.
Author, you might want to consider getting you mods ready for the beta version of Starfield, the beta update releases in four days and I know it changes the mesh file locations
I don't know how it happened. I've installed this mod before and had no issues, but this time after installing (manually and MO2), the underlayer is not appearing and NPC's are not wearing the armour. When I loot them it is in their inventory, but when spawned they are wearing the flight utility suit or a pirate outfit from CrimsonX.
I had SCAV and all of those requirements installed, enabled, disabled, and other spacesuit & clothing mods as well and can't seem to find what's causing the issue.
Hm, maybe i'm dumb, but when i install this mod, the texture for the most body parts are invisible...i only see the chest area, the gloves, and some armor on the legs; helmet is unchanged. :/
i already removed it completely, checked if it looks like original again, reinstalled and had the same. :S
what am i doing wrong? :/ tried to search for any mods that can cause this, but cannot see anything which would modify that same area.
Doesn't work for me everyone is invisible lol well I can see their helmets but yeah...nothing else.
EDIT: I did install correctly but I had an older version of the mod downloaded and installed that, reinstalled the new version and it worked perfectly. Cheers!

Those guys could use a makeover just like this one. They just use the random suits.
A mix of the bounty hunter, scav and cyber runner sounds right (my opinion) but wearing actual clothes indoors.
