Structural Components Add Hull v1.0

:: CAUTIONS ::
Mods are not officially supported to Starfield at this point in time. Even this simple plugin could cause unforseen issues, as we don't know what Bethesda will do to the game with updates. Since mods aren't yet supported, it is plausible that some official updates will cause issues with load order, etc. which may lead to broken save games. Fortunately, this mod is simple - it contains no scripts or new records, and it only contains updates to existing records, but that is NOT a guarantee that it will not break things. Uninstalling this mod may have negative effects on your load order, such as changing the IDs of mods loaded after it, or other unforseen issues. Create a backup of your character before installing mods and be prepared for the worst. As an early adopter of Starfield mods, this is the risk you take for living on the bleeding edge.

:: REQUIREMENTS ::
As plugins are not yet supported, you will need a way to install plugins.
Technically, although not ideal, you can edit the StarfieldCustom.ini file (usually located in C:\users\\Documents\my games\Starfield), and add a line such as:
[General]
sTestFile1=StructuralComponentsAddHull.esm
but this is NOT ADVISED, as it is fragile and is MORE LIKELY TO BREAK YOUR GAME.

Fortunately, there are better options. The modding community seems to favor using Plugins.txt Enabler by nukem, found here:
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4157

This is considered less risky than using the sTestFile method, but it is still rather experimental. Please read the details on that mod page to learn more about installing plugins. Note that, in order to use Plugins.txt Enabler, you will also need to install Starfield Script Extender for Steam editions of Starfield, or an ASI Loader for GamePass editions of Starfield. The description page for the Plugins.txt Enabler has all the information you need as well as the links to the other required files, so I am not going to include that information here.

:: FEATURES ::
This is a simple mod that makes it so that each structural component in the game adds an amount of hull strength equal to its mass. By default, they don't add any hull, which makes them inferior to gluing your ship together with nothing but habs, etc. and that doesn't encourage stylish designs. I like stylish designs so I created this mod. There is also a version of this mod where portholes do not add structure, as it may seem odd to some users that a window would make things stronger.

:: CREDITS AND THANKS ::
• ElminsterAU and the xEdit team. xEdit is a great tool, and without it this mod would not exist (or, at minimum, would be delayed until the Creation Kit is out).
• nukem for creating Plugins.txt Enabler, for making this easier and safer to install.
• the Starfield Script Extender Team, for providing the necessary functionality that allows nukem's Plugins.txt Enabler (and lots of other cool mods) to function.
• the ASI Loader team, for making mods more accessible to GamePass users.
