I've a question and a wishful request, what does count towards Exploration %? Is it enough to check the Scanned box or do I need to accurately check every box that is relevant to said planet/moon? Also, I switch between playthroughs, it would be awesome if we can have profiles in this app to switch between, or a way to reset logs and change name
waiting on CK to see the possibilities .... never say never in a Bethesda game.
Edit: In the mean time, I am working on a way to read live save data of the game. For instance, if you scanned a planet, the system would automatically know if the planet was visited or not.
Hi, omaops! I hope you don't mind a little friendly competition, but I also made an exploration app called Starfield ISS :D. Funny enough, we both made our apps public around the same time, but I only realized later on that Nexus was the right place to put it. I'm always striving to learn more, so I'm curious about your ongoing success and your future Android plans. Would you be willing to message me on Discord to exchange ideas?
Hi Aquasarus, I checked your app and I love the details you put into it. StarCon App mainly focus on aiding exploration as a captain's log and prioritizes ease of use. I am currently working on a mobile app version for people who prefer to use their phones instead. I would love to chat with you on some of the ideas about companion apps like this. Thanks for reaching out. Cheers!
Likewise! While it is my humble opinion that a lot of my designs are more user friendly than StarCon, yours certainly has some nice features that the ISS lacks (e.g. the custom ranking progress is really cool!). Send me a message at @aquasarus on Discord. I'll see you there!
When ever you log an action about a planetary object (writing logs, checking scanned, ...), the system assumes that you have visited it. It is basically calculated by how much of the planets/moons or asteroids you have directly or indirectly interacted with.
1. It does not sync to your game 2. No, that is by design to give more flexibility to users who alt+tab to the app. (If there is more demand for this) 3. You can find videos that explain really well how the app works in the 'Video' tab.
I have seen it macvane and I am working on it. It is a little bit tricky to fix so I postponed the patch for the next update. But it will be resolved. Thanks for the reminder.
Edit: Hi Macvane, please check on the new update 1.4.6 (on GitHub until nexus approves the update) and let me know if that has resolved the issue.
Resources are now fully available for editing (Even ones with suffixes)
Added to resources systems that were not available on the res-raw data like the Heinlein System
You can now even search resources and find their locations or even search for the planet/moon name and see the resources they have.
Just to give a shout out to Azzatru for checking out my mod in his top 10 weekly mod reviews. Did not think I would be in 'week #12' mod review let alone winning it. Cheers!
I keep checking back on this and it keeps getting locked for a couple of days. I'll be back next week to see if it's accessible. I'm sorry you can't seem to get, what appears to be, a very handy tool available to the general public. I have a feeling updates are going to be problematic. Thanks for your efforts.
Edit: I read further down and see you tossed it up on github. Good move. Thank you!
I took a deep look at what you're doing. You took on quite a chore. Lots to sort through. I like the logic you employed. You obviously had more features and data in mind. This is a great start to this utility. Well done.

1. Does this sync to your game? As in, does it track automatically, or does the user have to manually input changes to progress?
2. Is there a way to resize the windows?
3. Is there a "How to Use" guide I overlooked?
Thank you for your efforts and work! This is quite the project!
