Howto: Add custom ship part icon
Tired of only re-using the existing ship part icons for new parts in the ship builder? This how-to shows you how to add your own ship part thumbnail icon into the StarUI Ship Builder interface.
Step 1 - Create thumbnail image
Make a thumbnail of your ship part with transparent background and a max dimension of 100x80 pixel.
Create an 128x128 sized DDS image and position the thumbnail image in the center of it.
Make sure you have at least 14 pixel free space to the left/right border and at least 24 pixel space to the top/bottom border.
Give your thumbnail a unique name (best to include your mod name) and save the image into the folder: Data\Textures\Interface\ShipBuilder...
