Changelogs
2024 January 28 - I may still update occasionally, but have no further plans with any of my mods except Books Revamped, Better NPCs, Starlit - A Starfield Mod List, and a fourth unnamed project, so you have my explicit permission to do what you want with this one.

I've kind of neglected this mod because I was happy with the way it worked, but since I still haven't come across anything that does the same, it's finally time for an update.

v1.3 - I've tried to spawn in every creature I could to get a better look at them and adjusted armor, hit chance, and damage bonuses as appropriate. Exact changes listed in the spoilers below may be slightly off now, see change log for difference.

Realism and Immersion: In the real world, different parts of the body have varying levels of vulnerability. By implementing locational-based damage, I've fine-tuned enemy health, resistances, and related parameters to ensure that battles are no longer a test of endurance.

Tactical Gameplay: Introducing locational-based damage encourages you to think strategically during combat. You may now prioritize aiming for more vulnerable areas to maximize damage or just overwhelm with DPS.

Enhanced Role-Playing: For players who enjoy role-playing, having different body parts take varying amounts of damage can add depth to character development. Characters might specialize in certain combat techniques or weapons, emphasizing a particular style or strategy.

Increased Difficulty: Implementing locational-based damage may increase the overall difficulty of the game. You now need to be more precise in your attacks, adding an additional layer of challenge.

Player Choice: Whether you prefer quick kills by targeting vital areas or prefer a more strategic, methodical approach, this mod provides you with the agency to play the game your way.

Variety in Combat Scenarios: Each encounter becomes unique, as you adapt your tactics based on the type of enemy you face and the vulnerabilities of those enemies.

Compatible with anything that doesn't edit Race or Body Part records. If using PEAK - Enemy Combat AI, place Headhunter after. They work great together.

It's a normal ESM. Install with a mod manager if you can.
If you're manually installing mods, you should already know what to do.
