Might want to wait till the patch is released before asking for patching mods x) there are stuff that may still change, but yeah it's a problem, the green-tinted sight are annoying u_u

Was coming the say the same thing, I'm playing the Beta right now and the entire model for for every reflex sight is invisible in first person. And when viewing the gun in your inventory the whole gun model is missing. I removed the mod and they came back but the tint is terrible after using this awesome mod lol. I really hope it gets an update after may 15th. Please and thanks!

I think it's a problem with all meshes since the Beta.  I'm having the same invisibility problem with my Mantis suit replacer.  However my texture-only mod to improve the helmet light works fine.

Sounds like an incompatibility with another mod, check if you have any conflicts.

super weird. The only thing I can think of is weapon reskins. I have the dark weapon packs. When I use weapon replacers if they have the reflex.nif it fixes but default weapons no go. It is only in 1st person view also.

As someone that has looked through more than a few actual reflex sights I have to say...

    THANK YOU!

That gods-aweful color filter drove me insane!

Fastest I've ever smashed an Endorse button.

    **Edit:
Apparently I've never hit Endorse less than 15 minutes after installing a mod before because TIL there is a 15 minute minimum wait for it, LoL.

In addition to where Vortex installed it, I had to install the files to Documents/MyGames/Starfield
    for the mod to work.

Great mod by the way :)

seems that i had to install this in the Documents folder. only Tombstones red dot worked when installed on root folder but other guns still had the tint but after moving to the files from root to doc this mod started working fine.

also thx for the mod. i have been using irons since dam the tint is annoying and idk what the devs where thinking >_<

but hey, it wouldn't be Bethesda game if modders didn't have to fix their game xD

Something is wrong with your game. (Bethesda's fault.) Use BethINI.

Installing in the Documents/My Games/Starfield directory is the correct place. Anything that mods the meshes or textures goes there. The only time this can be different is if you have the mods that make the main game directory default for everything. Why the hell the mod author says to put it in the game directory... I have no idea.

But it's not going to work there unless you have a the file workaround, which seems like more of a hassle than it's worth to me to be honest. And most people don't seem to utilize it. Myself included.

Meshes load fine from the base game directory, only textures are required to load from the My Games folder by default.

In my game this mod only works if I place in the Documents folder.  I don't understand why this is since it's only meshes, nor do I understand why Bethesda designed modding this way or why they included glare in the first place.  But then again, there's lots of things in the world that are beyond me!

I like to play as a sniper, can you mod the removal of the ID flags, or move them up with maybe a red companion line? They completely block the view of the enemy when at sniper range

Idk if you're having the same issue as I am but I play as a sniper as well and my problem is that, when I am trying to snipe at night, the reticle disappears with the dark background and I can't actually SEE if I am lining up with the enemy or not...? Idk if I explained myself correctly.

Is there anything you can do to make the sights not disappear while the player is invisible from the Chameleon armor trait?

This mod will let you swap out Chameleon for other traits (balance friendly, uses resources like FO4's system, etc.:
