This mod creates an alternative path to obtaining the Starborn ship, spacesuits, and even fully upgraded powers. For now this is done via spending lots of credits at the research station. You can do this in New Game or in NG+ so you can settle down and quit grinding loops.
Suits and Powers are gained via extremely sophisticated and expensive "dispensers" that aren't at all like cheap vending machines. The ship can be purchased from an outpost ship terminal once researched.
Caveat: For now all Starborn ships you encounter can be stolen (the hatch is unlocked) without requiring any research, this will probably be replaced by a key system.

The normal version requires you to have progressed the story and learned the first Starborn power. You can then research Starstuff which will unlock further research into Alien Weave (for suits), Quantum Drive (for the ship) and Space Magic (lol for powers of course).
Alien Weave & Space Magic :: These allow you to build dispensers for random legendary Starborn suits and powers (in pill form). All of which are very costly. Occasionally the dispensers will jam and you will need to wait a few days or build another one.
Quantum Drive :: This allows you to purchase a Starborn Guardian VI. To purchase the ship you must build the large outpost landing pad with a ship terminal or wait for your existing one to refresh its inventory. You can also steal Starborn ships, and they can now be sold.
In the normal version the research alone costs about a million credits in total, this huge amount of credits is meant to be an aspirational goal for long single playthroughs. But you can also use the cheat version to reduce the research costs by 99% and eliminate the progress requirement.
During this "Beta" period I recommend the cheat version so that it is easier to try out and test the mod.
