Q: This looks weird on my setup – how do I fix it? A: StarUI is insanely configurable, and I have not tested every single setting. I recommend the Vanilla Extended preset. Please let send me any issues you have.
Q: There are file conflicts! Which file do I let win? A: Let this file overwrite the files provided by StarUI. In your mod manager, load this file after StarUI.
Just a quick note, the sticky and description links for StarUI HUD and StarUI Inventory both go to HUD (both call mod 3444, Inventory should call 773). Keep up the great work!
Hiya there, I am having trouble with the icons registering by the game, I've got Archive Invalidation sorted and such, tried customising the files so they work but it just seems like there's no input going in on StarUI's side? Is there something I've missed overall for these chain of mods?
EDIT: Immediately found the problem, Baka Disable My Games mod was borking my entire installation of mods up. Odd.
It seems like you updated some icons in HUD but didn't update them in Inventory, unless I'm mistaken?
I noticed when I picked up a mine out of an ammo box. I saw that the grenades and the mines in the box had different icons, but in the inventory screen they all use the grenade icon.
That's just StarUI Inventory. It doesn't have separate icons for mines and standard grenades - HUD does. It'll probably be updated on m8r's end in the near future.
StarUI Inventory had a new update(2.3.1) which breaks this mod. No inventory icons appear, and some functions are broken, like Purchase everything from a category or Sell everything from a category
Here is the 2.3 version which still works. Until this mod is updated, stay on 2.3
None of the new icons are appearing in inventory, or anywhere else as far as I can tell. I installed and tested StarUI Inventory v2.2 just in case, but there was no difference. I don't know why it's not working. Does anyone have any idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If any other info is needed, I'll do my best. Obviously my StarfieldCustom.ini has: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=
There's one thing I'm confused about, and that is if we use both StarUI Inventory and StarUI HUD we have two different files for icons: - StarUI Inventory Icons.swf - StarUI HUD Icons.swf
So, my question is, how to make the game to use this icons in StarUI inventory? Deleting StarUI Inventory Icons.swf causes errors...
StarUI Inventory uses StarUI Inventory Icons.swf for its icons. StarUI HUD uses StarUI HUD Icons.swf for its icons. That's the scope of this mod and all that it replaces.
That's not a cutter icon. That's a heavy weapons icon. It's used by the mini-guns, grenade launchers, stuff like the Magstorm. The cutter is just also classified as a heavy weapon.
The next update is going to include a more generic icon as an optional and instructions for people to give the cutter their own icon itself. I don't want to distribute more files than I need to for compatibility reasons.

TO-DO
– Replace more icons – probably the aid icons.
– Fix any slightly perceived icon size issues.
– Address inevitable complaints and requests.
This is being shared after receiving permission from m8r98a4f2.
Please do not submit bugs to them. Thank you.

I'll probably get to StarUI Workbench in a bit. I haven't checked it out yet.
Not a big deal though, I'll check later tonight and update if necessary.
- StarUI Inventory (v2.3)
- StarUI HUD (v1.1)
- StarUI Workbench (v1.0)
- StarUI Material Icons (v2.0)
