I have uploaded an optional file with all interface files pushed up to 120fps.

Take note that some animations will be sped up as they are only designed to run at 30fps - with that said, I've been using them for around 20hrs of playtime without any ill effect.

2023-09-14: I've uploaded a new version (v1.3) that uses the files from the latest game update just in case of any changes. I've also removed a number of files from the full install that were not having any effect (e.g. they're static or just library files with icons in them).

Would be cool if you offered a 60FPS version of the mod as not many people get 120FPS in game due to the game being so demanding.

I'd also like to request a 60fps version if the author would be so kind. I have everything capped at 60fps, mainly due to the fact that we all know Bethesda's engine doesn't behave very well at high fps.

Mod author rules, not obligated but a humble "me too" on top of everyone else's support of this.

The new beta is out and there's this line in the notes:

      • Updated the Ship UI to perform more smoothly at higher framerates
So maybe Bethsoft provided a builtin 60fps mode?

Can't understand what is wrong, but this mod no longer works for me. It worked, but recently I re-installed Windows (due to other reasons) and hence re-installed Starfield. I did everything by the instuctions to install this mod, including the .ini file. But it simply doesn't work for me. And I literally have no other mods exept this. What could be the problem?

Hi guys, sorry to ask here, but does a mod which avoid random power management resetting exist ? It's so annoying to have to set them again and again.
    I hope I've made myself clear :)

Thank you so much for the StarfieldCustom.ini explanation ans misc download!
I gave up on installing 4 other mods just now because I didn't have the .ini file on my directory and had no idea what it was even about.

Yours was the first mod that bothered to not only explain what is going on, but also to link a sample file for download.
    10/10 thanks man! <3

Use BethINI. Much better than manually editing stuff you don't understand.

Depends on if your refresh rate for your screen can do it. If it only supports hypothetically, 60, than you're not going to be able to benefit.

i started from scratch, reinstalled all my mods using MO2 this time. things seem to work much better (including this mod) and i have the peace of mind that it doesnt replace anything in my actual Data folder, so uninstalling is much more convenient. dont know why i didnt use this before, vortex sux

i have 165hz monitor lol tho dw
thanks OP for the mod and helpful pins

Does anyone use this alongside Sony DualShock icons for PlayStation controller? When I added this mod, it stopped the icons working

Is there any way to change this mod to 60-90fps?

    - 120fps is amazing but feels a little fast <3
