there might be more files that need replaced, specifically when changing direction. going from strafe left to strafe right, the character kinda takes two slow steps really stupid like. it only seems to happen while the gun is pointed forwards. example footage: https://i.imgur.com/xWNjKLN.mp4 the left-to-right transition is def the worst of them.
hi, Really great mod ! Just one question : is there a way to delete completely the running animation ? I mean, with a controller there is : walk/jog/run with left thumbstick. ( and there is sprint button). And it would be great if I hade only : Walk/jog ( and the sprint button of course). I tried another mod ( dead zone thumbstick) but, in the menu, the cursor is too slow. And when when I push the joystick up and left or up and right, ( diagonal ) the character star to run anyway. Very frustrating. Maybe there is a way with "simply" delete running animation ? I really dislike to run for expample in interior. Too small space, (Or maybe there is another mod which just delete the running animation in interior ?) Thank you, and sorry for my English, not my native language .
I have Steam version, and install everything manually. Works like a charm.
However.... is there any way you can remove the delay COMPLETELY from Third Person?
So a clear example of this is if you simple hit "S" to move backward on mouse and keyboard -> in FIRST person, you move back immediately, allowing small precise inputs to move exactly where you want. -> in THIRD person, you can keep tapping "S" and if quick enough, nothing happens, as if this is a whole ass animation to start moving.
I'm not so much worried about immersion, and things not looking 100% proper, but I'd much rather have an immediate input in Third Person. It just feels weird to use and makes me want to swap to first.
When I'm just jetpacking around or playing casually, this mod definitely makes third person bearable for me. Thanks!
Is anyone else getting weird rubber banding when moving other directions? seems random but it usually happens in buildings or like uneven ground where my character will rubber band and stutter a few feet in a direction like if i quickly change directions or turn. Unsure if its the cause of this mod but could be something to look into
This is an issue with the game itself, happens even without this mod. The mod may make it more apparent though, due to giving the player becoming more responsive overall.
Seems like the game just sometimes freaks out and doesn't know what to do with the player's position, so it just teleports them where it thinks they should be or something.
