TRADE AUTHORITY DROPBOX 1.0
---------------------------

"Valued Customer,

Thank you for opening an account to use the new Trade Authority Dropbox.

Dropboxes can be found at all participating Trade Authority franchises. How do you use the Dropbox? It's easy! Simply deposit any number of items, of any value, in the Dropbox. Our friendly and helpful franchisees will then despatch your items to our warehouse, where we will sort, value, and despatch them across the settled systems to be sold. As your items are sold, their value will be transferred to your account via GalBank courier ship, wherever you may be in the Settled Systems!

We look forward to your future custom, and will strive to provide you with the very high level of service for which we are renowned!"

Overview
--------

This is another mod to make selling large values of loot easier. Bethesda's game settings allow you to increase the amount of credits that traders hold, at the cost of XP earned. This mod exchanges convenience for a reduction in the credits earned from loot items.

It's most useful in the later game stages, when loot flows like water and you've already visited all the traders and picked up any quests they offer. This mod leaves traders untouched, so you can still sell items to them for the full value.

A dropbox has been added to five of the Trade Authority locations, in New Atlantis, Neon, Cydonia, The Den and The Key. There isn't one in Hopetown; the Trade Authority there operates out of a bar! And I couldn't find a clear space to add the dropbox

To avoid making this an inventory handling minigame, the dropboxes have been implemented in the same way as the Trade Authority kiosks so you can 'sell' items direct from your ship's hold, though at a face value of 0 credits. You can deposit any number and value of items in any of the dropboxes, and will be paid every 24 hours (Universal Time) up to 50k credits each time, until the value of items has been paid. You can add more items to any dropbox at any time, and their value will be added to the total remaining.

There is a handing charge which is reduced at higher Commerce skill rankings; 30% at rank zero, reducing by 5% per rank down to 10% at rank four.

Near each dropbox is a slate which you can take. The slate will show you the number of payments made to date, the number of hours to the next payment, and the remaining value of stock to be paid off. The slate will update every in-game hour (Universal time), approximately every 3 minutes real-world time. You can optionally make the slate a quest item so you can't accidentally lose or sell it; if you don't choose this option and do lose the slate you can just pick up one of the others.

Installation
------------

It's best to install using a mod manager (eg Vortex or MO2). To install manually, copy the .esm and .ba2 files from the .zip file to your Starfield Data folder.

Uninstalling mods can cause problems with your savegame. If you're determined to uninstall, wait until the slate shows Remaining Stock Value as 0.

Compatibility
-------------

This mod only adds some items to the game world, and moves one piece of static clutter in The Den, so it will only be incompatible with mods that make significant changes to the layout of the Trade Authority locations. Any mods which change the sale bonuses awarded by the Commerce skill will work, but won't have any effect on the value received for items deposited in the dropboxes.
