I've been talking to others about this for the past week, I think the best course of action since the author hasn't responded to dm's/this thread or have been active for a long time. Is to upload ONLY files that I've created or files that I've added expressions to.
Which means you would also need to download this mod and then merge my files with it. That way I can show stanloona420 respect by giving them all the credit and traffic they deserve while also allowing you all to use this mod with version 1.6
If all is good, then you can expect an upload late tomorrow or early sunday
Since stanloona420 hasn't been active for around 10 months I don't think you will get the permission to upload the updated file anytime soon :( If it is possible, could you pleaseeee comment a link to the updated files under this mod's posts since it is the same mod and you wouldn't be stealing credit for it. Im desperate to have a goth haley in my town im, so bummed out this hasn't been updated yet.
In order to use this version of the mod (seasonal) you NEED the seasonal cute mod already in your mods folder. After that it's very easy.
1 - Download this mod 2 - unzip to find a folder called "Seasonal Goth Haley" 3 - look inside to find a folder called "assets" 4 - drag and drop the "assets" folder into the "[CP] Seasonal Cute Characters" folder 5 - you will be asked if you would like to overwrite the files, say yes! 6 - done!
If you did not get asked to overwrite the files, then you are placing it in the wrong place.
tysm! I ended up just moving all of the files from the goth mod and replacing them all with the OG haley ones (which is pretty much what you said), so thank you so much for the help!
is this mod still working? I downloaded Seasonal Cute Characters and went in the Mod Folder to replace the files but I cant seem to find all of them. For example in the goth Haley folder is a haley_beach file that I cant find in the Seasonal Cute Character Mods folder. instead there are a few beach files where all villager sprites are together.
Hi, this is my first attempt at modding, SMAPI boots up all the mods seamlessly but there's still no change to Haley in game? if anyone has an explanation that could be stated simply it would be much appreciated!
