    I am working on a 1.6 update, just please be patient with me on this. I'm hoping to roll one out in the next week or so (possibly sooner depending on how much time I can find to work on this). Thank you for the continued support on this project, I did not expect it reach 10,000 downloads and almost 300 endorsements.

    If you want to see this compatible with other mods changing character, dialogue, or events, just let me know and I'll ask those mod authors for permission! I've got a few I'm working on right now. Please comment suggestions on this post so I see them first.
    I won't be working on this mod much besides regular updates for an indefinite amount of time. Life keeps me really busy, I don't have the passion I used to for working on mods for this game, and I've considered just leaving Nexus entirely. I appreciate all the support over the years and I have really enjoyed being apart of this community. If I ever stop updating this mod entirely, I will try to find somebody else to take over and keep it up. Thank you.

    Wonderful mod! Had to remove it though because it was breaking Pierre. Each event, Pierre sells seasonal event items. For some reason, when I had this mod specifically, it made Pierre only sell Jack O'Lantern and the witch Rarecrow, nothing else. It was immediately resolved when I removed this mod though. I must have a mod that it isn't compatible with. Oh well. I loved the mod while it lasted, but I miss my event items! Maybe I'll just remove it when events near, and then add it back afterwards lol

      Was not aware of this issue and not sure why it is happening exactly. I'll do some more extensive looking to the it. Could be I've possibly messed up some of the "shop' conditions. If you can think of any mod that may be interfering with this one, please do share. I've been tweaking and working on this mod some lately so there may be an update coming out very soon

    Hello! This is such a wonderful mod and you're a real lifesaver > < I have only one problem, it doesn't work with Make Marlon Real Mod because somehow Marlon's name doesn't change. I would really appreciate your help ;w;

      Hello! Thank you for the support. This mod is not compatible with any other mods that make changes to characters and/or add any sort of events or dialogue. You would have to manually go through the files of the Make Marlon Real Mod and change every instance of characters names and pronouns used in that mod to see the changes match up to those you edit from this mod. I'm sorry for the inconvenience for this as this mod was never meant to be compatible with any other mod except for SVE (as of version 1.14.18) in which I had to manually go through all the text to make it that way.

      I have tried other name changing mods but Marlon keeps walking out of bounds instead, while your mod actually keeps him function properly. I will try to replace his name in my free time, and thank you so much 🙏

      Open the config menu? Download Generic Mod Config Menu and click on the cog icon at the bottom of the main menu screen. You should see "Ultimate Villager Manager" there and be able to edit the options.

    Hello! Thank you so much for this wonderful mod. If I change Elliott's name using this tool, will other mods that modify or add on to his dialogue have changes reflected or do I need to adjust everything manually? (I don't mind if it's the latter. Just checking in to see what LOE I am committing to for the name swap I want!) 

    EDIT: Oops, I see you answered this exact question a year ago. :) Time to figure out how to adjust my Elliott expansion mods!

      I had thought about it in the past but I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to making it happen. Who knows...I may get around to it in the near future but I don't want to make any false promises.

    If you are using another language, don't install this mod!!! It will change your dialogues to English! No matter what language you choose in the game start menu!! It happened to me and I checked all the mods I installed finally figured this out...

      I did comment on a post earlier that there was no support for translations and only supported English but I suppose I should have pinned this message closer to the top or put it in my description. I apologize for your troubles on that

    Ultimate Village Manager is such a customizable mod.  Even the little details, like pronouns, are a sweet touch.
    There's a few unchanged names in the dialogue, particularly Sandy's introduction, but I haven't seen other needed tweaks right now.

    I'm not familiar enough with Stardew to code at the moment, but I hope this mod becomes a framework for others.

    Hello, love the mod, but a quick question. On the screenshots I can see that character dialogue uses custom names, but when I have changed a name, in dialogue they still refer to themselves as the original name. Is there something else I need to do or grab?

      got it to work properly nvm
