Cute mod, but I think there’s just too many snails. I find them everywhere. I wake up in the morning and I can see 5 new snails from my front porch, and that’s just the beginning. Do they affect how much other forageables turn up?
Hi! Lovely mod, thank you for making it ^_^ (Also your snails make it easier to get backpack upgrade at day 2 which is a good thing in my book)
Having a little problem though - crabs in summer appear without their shells so it looks a little weird since they act like they have it and if they don't move I need to use a pickaxe I like having a visual que to how to approach them so if you can look into fixing this little problem - it would be great ^_^
Hi again, I read on one of your mod pages that someone has been seeing critters spawn on top of each other on 1 tile, I have the same issue. For me they spawn on one another and do not move off that tile. They still do all their animations but that is all. I saw a solution to leave the area and come back, but they are still like that. It happens with this mod and the crabs from the beach crabs and snails mod. I have seen it most with raccoons, ducks, and crabs. Maybe something changed with the update of Farm Type Manager? I heard it is an issue with 1.6
**Edit** Saw that an update is in the works, thank you!
The hairstyle and clothes are actually from the vanilla game ^_^ The shoes are a personal edit though, which are very similar to the one that came with Get Glam (maybe I'll finally get around to making a boots/shoes pack for FS...)
Hi there! I love the concept of this mod and I loved trying it in my game. I was just wondering if it was possible to make the snails spawn only on the farm? Because in my game they were spawning all over town, in the mountains, etc and taking up the slots for normal seasonal forage to spawn. (So there was an abundance of snails and nothing else) Not sure if that’s just a problem in my game? I appreciate the help!
This mod can work alongside Better Beach Forage, but this may cause even more crabs to spawn on your beach due to both mods spawning the same thing. If you'd rather not have too much crabs, then I can upload a separate version that only has snails and another with just crabs. ^_^
I would really appreciate if you could upload a "snails only" mod as I have quite a few crabs spawning on the beach with the other mod (20-30 a day and they stay on the beach for 2 days, call me edgy, I like the danger when I go forage my sea urchins, my oysters and my clams.)
I'm not seeing any snail despite having set the spawn hours to "6am to 11am" and set the minimum and maximum spawn rate from "10" minimum to "20" maximum, and this across all locations in manifest.json. Am I doing something wrong?
Oh dear, I just checked the Garden Snails file and I noticed I have completely forgotten to remove a small line of code! I shall upload the fix as soon as possible! ^_^
EDIT: An update for the Garden Snails mod has been uploaded. The mod should be able to work now! :D
Hello there! :D The mod you see there is called Giant Bumblebees for Custom Critters. ^_^ You can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/8384
