Love this mod! Only issue (and it's minor) is that as soon as I got engaged (not married) to Shane, she appeared even the coop obviously wasn't there yet
Will this work with custom farm maps? I'm currently using Grandpa's Farm from SVE and it moves the location of the spouse area, so I assume there might be issues with that, if so, is there a way to edit this myself to make it compatible? (Just so you don't have to do like a 100 different compatibility patches... lol)
Ha ha, yeah I wouldn't know where to begin keeping track of all the custom maps that are out there! You assume correctly, Charlie's position is currently hard-coded for the vanilla farm maps. But I guess it won't be too much trouble to make this mod customizable. Stay tuned!
Do you plan on updating this mod to make it compatible with the beach farm? The location of the coop is different in the new update and charlie is in the middle of the ocean. I would love to have charlie in the world, and not just in the coop 24 7
Thanks for letting me know! I haven't really played the new update, so I wasn't aware there was an issue. I'll be looking into a fix for the beach farm when I find the time.
I would also love a more active Charlie--that was my intention when I started making this mod. I've abandoned the idea since then, but you got me thinking about it again... So we'll see!
I am really glad this mod exists. Also chickens are social animals so the thought of her living in that coop all alone and never coming out made me very sad.
Love this idea, thank you! I'm not married to Shane in my current playthough so I can't test this, but was curious - if I have a sprite replacer that changes how chickens look, will Charlie use their look or does she have her own sprite?

Charlie as an NPC sounds adorable!
